Hindsight Releases Intense New Song Titled “TRANSFORM” with Influences of Rock, Metal, Prog, and Electronic Music

The song pairs elements of rock, metal, and prog while also incorporating aspects of electronic music to create a unique sound.

“We wanted to push ourselves out of our comfort zone on this one and let the song really drive us where it wanted to go. While not always the case, we decided that approach this with the mindset that nothing was off of the table in terms of tones, sound choices, arrangement, and instrumentation. This song was for sure one of the more progressive tunes that we have written to this point but still contains some of the chorus driven writing that we tend to gravitate towards.”

Expect juicy synths and glossy harmonies, as Emily Perry oozes an unapologetically fierce and flirty attitude through her lyrics. “We were writing this song almost as an anthem of confidence for all my ladies out there. The WA-based musician will be performing a one off, hometown headline show at Indian Ocean Hotel on September 24, and off the back of his collaboration with Perth hip hop royalty DRAPHT on his new album Shadows and Shinings (also released today), Eli Greeneyes will be joining DRAPHT on the road for his extensive 13 WA-date album tour in September, October and November this year.

Diving into the next era of Wiz’s musical journey, this song represents a time where he began to move beyond his cultivated rap chops and tap into his aptitude for melodies alongside producer Jeff Hazin. Opening with the buzzing singer crooning over an acoustic riff, the song flourishes with the producer bringing in their synth laced beat to underscore Wiz’s trademark easy going flow. About the track he states, “With ‘Break’ I explore the layers of a heartbreak I went through. The song is about the phase post-relationship, how the perception of the previous lover changes over time, how you can see them in a different light as the feeling of heartbreak changes and transforms, even as you see another person.”

“Have Mercy” made its broadcast premiere on MTV Live, MTVU and MTV’s global network of channels, as well as BET Soul, BET Jams, BET Her and on the ViacomCBS Times Square billboard.

Mom Tudie releases shuffling, soulful new single “Doesn’t Matter Why” ft. Yakul

Speaking on the tracks lyrics, James Berkeley of Yakul said: “This song lyrically for me was born out of the frustration of the previous year. I was finding it hard to follow through with ideas and maintain a creative flow because of the how repetitive my daily routine has become. I found myself becoming more stuck in my head than previously which created a bit of a cycle of overthinking. Getting these lyrics out was definitely a cathartic experience for me, and acted as a reminder of the power of artistic expression.”
