SUSTO share new track ‘Summertime’

Speaking about ‘Summertime’, frontman Justin Osborne said, “The song is about young love, and those heartbreaks that come and go like a whirlwind. They hurt like hell in the moment, but they also make you who you are and teach you how to love. It felt fitting to include this on ‘Time in the Sun’, because the album is a synopsis of my life in some ways, and even though they didn’t pan out, those relationships I had on the way to where I am now, are a big part of my story and my personality. So I guess this song is an ode to young love, and the lessons we learn from it.”

FEED MY PAIN is about not being able to let go of toxicity. Whether it is a relationship, romantic or otherwise just those things you hate but can’t let go of.

I have been addicted to chaos and drama my whole life. Addiction is in my wiring. Being in recovery I am able to see how attached I get to things that destroy me. Drugs, love,…the list goes on. Even music consumes me in and unhealthy manner.

This is about the constant hunger…the need to feed what is killing me always.

The song pairs elements of rock, metal, and prog while also incorporating aspects of electronic music to create a unique sound.

“We wanted to push ourselves out of our comfort zone on this one and let the song really drive us where it wanted to go. While not always the case, we decided that approach this with the mindset that nothing was off of the table in terms of tones, sound choices, arrangement, and instrumentation.
