A world-class collaborator and even better flexer, Rich The Kid is an influential figure in the trap scene. Revealing that his street-savvy instincts haven’t faded as his bankroll has grown, Rich The Kid shares the video “Prada” (Remix). Released last week, the song features a drill-influenced, piano-heavy beat and a nasty verse from Polo G. In the video, directed by Gemini Vision, Rich and Polo post up at a mansion, as Rich shows off his ivory tinkling skills and Polo digs an unmarked grave.
Songstress Kaitlyn Myers Reveals “hopelessly (un)romantic” from Upcoming Release
Philadelphia based singer-songwriter, Kaitlyn Myers, takes inspiration from the vintage sounds of Motown and soul, but adds the modern rhythms of today’s pop music. Her passion for mental health and social justice are vividly reflected in her lyrics. In her debut EP, “Chasing Dopamine” (produced by Shannon McArthur), Kaitlyn discusses her trifles with depersonalization and anxiety throughout all five songs. In her more recent single, “Star Spangled Revolution”, she modified the American National Anthem to represent the Black Lives Matter Movement, donating all proceeds to organizations that support the cause (Learn More under the Activism tab). She is currently writing more original music and looks forward to more releases this year.

joan, about “something special, say, “this song makes you feel so nice, and if you disagree, we can’t be friends. sorry, but it’s true. this song started as a doobie brothers tribute song, just having some fun one day. we were just messing around with keyboard sounds and came across the chords to what are now the chorus chords. we looked at each other and said “wow this feels special, ohhh special. let’s write around that word.” and then all the sudden the lyrics to the chorus fell into place and we just got more and more excited with each minute that passed. the rest of the song just kind of worked itself out.
Today, Paul Leary (Butthole Surfers) shares a new music video for his single, “The Adventures of Pee Pee The Sailor,” via Guitar World. The video, directed by Jeffrey Garcia, features Paul’s friends playing the following colorful roles: Furly Travis as Pee Pee, Niles Williamson as The Tuff Guy, Grady Roper as the Bearded Little Girl, and Rebekah Porter as the Leap Frog Cowboy Gal.
