Indie Disco Duo NEIL FRANCES Return With “It’s Like A Dream”

Los Angeles duo Neil Frances (Jordan Feller and Marc Gilfry) are back with their first new track since their ep, Stay Strong Play Long, was released earlier this year. “It’s Like A Dream” is a daytime disco banger that has already become a crowd favorite at private rooftop parties around LA. The band adds, “This song is about the feeling of yearning for the club. We want our music to soundtrack people’s weekends, and this one was made for that purpose. Like when you get in your car and you need that one song to set it off, we want ‘It’s Like A Dream’ to be that.”

Evann McIntosh Debuts Expansive New Project ‘Character Development’ (Mom+Pop)

“Character Development is one of many phases of my life I’ve been able to encapsulate,” Evann explains. “If this project had a label on it like a scrapbook would, it’d say ‘SOPHOMORE YEAR OF HIGHSCHOOL 2018-2019’. It’s a character, with a full backstory and all sorts of obstacles. It’s a snow globe forever holding a very specific time and place in my life that has passed and exists only to give context to the next that will do the same for whatever after and so on and so forth. Character Development is a shed layer of skin. A very nice, meaningful shed layer of skin.”

Written about the dissolution of a friendship, “Inside of It All” captures the private grief of cutting off someone close. Director Rich-Belle Banasen expanded on those emotions in the video, showing the inner battle to express what’s on the inside of a person dealing with loss and depression. The woman in the video, played by Uyemi, goes through her daily routine unable to share her feelings, bottling her energy up until she’s ready to burst. Without the words to express, she finds an alternate form of release by attempting to heal through movement.

Latin Sensation Maria Becerra Releases Debut Album ‘Animal’ & Teams Up With Becky G For New ‘Wow Wow’ Music Video  

In the past year, the 21-year-old singer has gone from Argentina’s top artist to global pop star. In VEVO on YouTube’s list of the most-viewed Latin music videos of 2021 in the U.S., Becerra has two videos in the top 10.
