PRE Rap Queen Joddy Badass Struts Her Stuff in “333” Video

Busting out of Brooklyn with a fierce attitude and rhymes to match, Joddy Badass is the First Lady of Paper Route EMPIRE. Today, Joddy shares the video for “333,” her highlight track from PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi. Produced by PRE’s sound architect Bandplay, “333” is an introductory tour-de-force from the rapper, a succinct summary of the traits that caught the attention of Young Dolph: “333 in Atlanta/I’ve been running bands up/Riding with my brodie, mixing codeine in that Fanta/Who the f*ck is Joddy? They about to get the answer.” In the video, Joddy gets a chauffeur ride to a luxurious hotel, where she takes a bath and surveys her kingdom.

Buffalo Nichols today shared his new single “Back On Top,” the second from his self-titled debut album, due out on October 15th, 2021, via Fat Possum. “‘Back On Top’ is a song about living in the moment at the expense of others and paying a high price tomorrow for a good time today,” explains the Austin, TX-based guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist Carl “Buffalo” Nichols—Fat Possum’s first solo blues signing in nearly 20 years. The smooth, dynamic track features a spright backbone of drums, and showcases a different side of the album from the tender, aching lead single “Lost & Lonesome,” released to praise last month from Rolling Stone Country and more. Efterklang Share New Track “Dragonfly”

Denmark’s best export, dream pop trio Efterklang are sharing a new track and video today. On FLOOD, the band’s vocalist Casper Clausen goes deep into the meaning behind the song and the making of the video. “Dragonfly” is from Efterklang’s upcoming album Windflowers, which will be released on October 8th through City Slang, and follows the album’s first single, “Living Other Lives”.
