UK R&B riser Olivia Nelson stuns with bluesy “Oblivion”
The first of a slew of releases promised from the artist this year, “Oblivion” opens to a refined piano instrumental, a rich bed for Olivia’s remarkable vocal performance to dance over, an uncut and effortless vocal performance that’s marked by her bluesy lyricism “I’m letting loose, I’ve lost control, lost my mind, can’t find my soul, I’ve been sippin’ on oblivion.”

Metallic hardcore band Foreign Pain share new single “Knell”
Today, Los Angeles-based metallic hardcore outfit Foreign Pain have shared a crushing new single and visualizer, “Knell”. The track will appear on their upcoming debut album Death of Divinity, out September 3rd on Good Fight Music. The new single represents metalcore and hardcore at its very best – heavy, sharp-edged and entirely pissed off. The track begins with an atonal riff set atop a layer of industrial soundscape that gradually descends into what could best be described as total madness; culminating in nearly two minutes of a fuzzed-out breakdown and an evil, serpentine riff that will surely serve as inspiration for more than a handful of terrifying moments in the mosh pit. The vocals are anguished and bitter without losing any of their anger, conveying the bleak themes of the song in a purposeful and brutal way. The visualizer accompanies the chaos of the track with flashing, nightmarish imagery set against a swirling black and red background.
Alice TM Announces Debut Album ‘Little Body In Orbit’ + Shares Video for Lead Single “Generous” [artpop, bedroom pop]
Alice TM is the queer artpop project of Alice Tolan-Mee. A dance conservatory dropout turned singer and composer, Alice TM bridges these disciplines through her raucous, emotionally unhinged performances, inhabiting a world between performance art and party.
Throughout her debut album Little Body In Orbit—releasing October 8 via Whatever’s Clever—Alice examines different types of love, finding room for both confession and retreat. Her songs are stratospheric in this way, fueled by the pressure of holding in emotions that once weren’t allowed out. She embraces her queerness, releasing love that was once stifled and latent, and allows love to guide her as she navigates memories of anger, abuse, and fear, as well as sex, addiction, depression, and loneliness.
In tandem with the single release, A$AP TyY has been officially announced as the face of Australian streetwear brand, Ksubi’s first gold jewelry line “KSUBI GOLD” which launched yesterday, August 10th. Artist: XUINN – Track: Stuck In My Head
My name is XUINN, pronounced ZENN. I’ve always made music with the goal of helping people connect and helping them understand that they’re not alone in what they’re feeling. I started in 2017 recording all of my songs in the closet of my apartment. Even if I didn’t have access to a great studio or much outside help, I still wanted to make music because I can’t imagine my life without it. I’ve always wanted to help people with music like how music helped me. With my music, I like to blend genres and experiment with sounds, much like my influences, ranging from Twenty One Pilots to My Chemical Romance. I don’t shy away from what’s experimental or different. If the emotion is there, I want to make it because maybe someone else feels the same way. Even now, my style is still developing, but the emotion will always be there because there’s nothing I’m more passionate about than music.

With alluring lyrics like I’ve heard you’ve got somebody in the city, but where is she tonight, we’re standing under the same chandelier, but I’m seeing me and you in a whole new light, Carrie shows off a more seductive side with “All Over Me.”
“I wrote this song at a writer’s retreat with pop artist Lo Lind and country artist Trace Thompson,” Carrie explains. “Trace came in with this awesome idea of how someone can be all over you in a heat of passion and then be all over you like it never happened. I believe we wrote it to pitch, but I ended up pitching it to myself! If the song is great, it doesn’t matter the genre.”
