Myles Jeh (ft. Taija New) – Addendum

Addendum, produced by Epik Beats, is a track where naysayers, copycats, and fake people are addressed. “JayTheKidd – REVENGE”

This mainstream hip-hop single has been thoughtfully crafted and written by JayTheKidd and talks about the struggles of being a 16-year-old kid trying to make it and make it right in the music industry. Toronto’s self-proclaimed DISCO QUEEN is on the scene with a groovy new single!

Keegan used this song to apply for Factor Canada’s Artist Development grant – which she was awarded in 2020 – but they decided to wait on the release so that they could produce a big-budget music video worthy of the track.

Between the balloons, streamers, roller skates and custom built disco lip couch (designed and constructed by Chambers), the video is bursting with roller disco prom vibes – the perfect backdrop for a song that aims to inform on just how sexy consent can be. They shot the video at Pursuit OCR in Toronto; an indoor fitness centre for adults (how very appropriate). The LED lights, fire pole, and trike track were transformed into stages where Keegan and her roller girls, Stuntaz & Michka Moon, could strut their stuff.

‘The Switch Up’ is a creative concept that has American emcee Fokis, rapping in German and German emcee Drive-by, rapping in English. “I’ve been touring Germany since 2018 and have connected with the people really well and in the process I also learned a few basic words in German. One day I thought to myself, what if I wrote a verse and had a German rapper say it, and a German rapper wrote a verse for me, to say… so I reached out to my boy Drive-By with the idea and he was all in. It took him 20 minutes to record what I wrote for him and took me 8 hours to record what he wrote for me, but we got it done and had fun doing it.” – Fokis
