Singer/songwriter Jesse Lynn Madera Releases Melodic and Uplifting Single “Revel”
Genre-defying artist Jesse Lynn Madera delivers another spellbinding song that highlights the singer/songwriter’s ‘otherworldly vocals’ (American Songwriter) and emotive delivery. “Revel,” which premiered yesterday on Americana Highways, offers heartening lyrics that implore the listener to find the good around them and to celebrate it. The track, with its ambient melody, “has emotional vicissitudes that carry chills down your back with lovely mandolin punctuations” (Americana Highways) and conveys a hopeful anthem for challenging times and celebrates the resilience of the human spirit.
THY ROW Shares Music Video “Horizons” Off Upcoming Debut Album “Unchained”
Today, the band shares their new music video for their second single “Horizons”, which features clips from the band’s 2019 Japan tour. The song itself is for everyone who has struggled with the covid-isolation.
“The music for this song tells the story about traveling and seeing the world and all the great places. It’s about the longing we all carry inside – of experiencing something new and visiting unfamiliar places. It is a pure rock ‘n roll track fueled with the frustration of everyday BS and the desire to cut free from it.” adds the band.
Opening with the claim that “movin’ on ain’t that hard” and ending with the confession “if I tell you I’m through, I’d be lying with you,” the new track came from a sincere place in Wright’s journey as a songwriter. “Honesty in lyrics is what allows a song to connect with the listener, I really wanted to lean into those hard truths with this song,” 24-year-old Wright adds. “I hope people can hear their own story and experiences in mine and feel less alone.”

The song is about him entering into the afterlife, and meeting Satan who he loved. Like really, really loved. This is one of my favorite songs on the record and I hope you like it as well.”
EAST FOREST has just released Possible, an 11-track album focused on the hopefulness of possibilities, and the strength of being able to rebuild when you are left bare and vulnerable. Centered around the soft, warm tone of a weathered 102-year old Baldwin piano East Forest found in a local music shop, Possible leans into the contemporary classical underpinnings of his work, unspooling a cavalcade of stirring melodies intended to create a musical space for self-discovery and healing. The album is rounded out by string arrangements by Lorna Dune and members of the Boise Philharmonic 208 ensemble, as well as contributions by Bayo Akomolafe and Lorraine Weiss. Possible is the latest chapter in his ever-evolving career, which includes over 25 albums, including 2019’s album length collaboration with spiritual pioneer Ram Dass, and collaborations with Typhoon, Laraaji, Dead Prez, Trevor Hall, and more.
LOTUS THRONES: Decibel Magazine Premieres “Liberate” Video
LOTUS THRONES is the solo project formed by former Wolvhammer and Across Tundras drummer Heath Rave during the 2020 quarantine. Lovers In Wartime was mixed by Sanford Parker at Hypercube, mastered by Collin Jordan at The Boiler Room, and completed with photography by Sally Mills and layout by Jeff Wilson, and includes a diversified cover of Bad Brains’ “I And I Survive.”
Slush Puppy shares, “This song is a certified headbanger. We wanted to show a different side that no one would expect and went fucking wild. Just crank that shit and go crazy.”
Produced by JUNO-nominated producer Harrison, whose previous credits include working alongside Jon Hopkins, Cashmere Cat, Ryan Hemsworth and more, ‘New Balance’ marries wobbling synth chords and shuffling percussion with DijahSB’s agile, Anderson .Paak-like flow and witty bars, casually tossing off complex rhyme schemes, rhythmic switch-ups and an embarrassment of buoyant, smile-inducing hooks.

DEATHBYROMY WILL MELT YOUR FACE WITH BLISTERING NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO “DAY I DIE”

Morningsiders Share Video For New Single “This Could Be Good”
Today, New York City folk-pop trio Morningsiders share the second single, “This Could Be Good,” from their upcoming EP, Easy Does It, out October 8, 2021. When asked about the song the band explained, “We wanted to write something about aimless nights out with friends (since there were none coming up anytime soon). The song is meant to capture this rare feeling when you just can’t put a foot wrong with the person you’re with. You’re both laughing at the same things, both on the same wavelength, both equally curious about the other. When that happens the rest of the world recedes away a little, almost like background noise.” The catchy feel-good track follows the nostalgic first single, “Bowery Ballroom.”

On “Habit”, Angel is stuck in a dilemma of confessing his love while fighting for reciprocation. “Tangible things are cool but all that running from yourself is just going to leave you breathless ” Like the rest of his project, the song borrows from many styles old and new in an attempt to fuse together the sound of his youth with his current sound.
About the song and video, Office Magazine said, “[Bren’s] airy presence evokes a fantasy that uniformly plays in our minds. Bren says what we can’t, making him the people’s champion.”
