Genre-defying artist Jesse Lynn Madera delivers another spellbinding song that highlights the singer/songwriter’s ‘otherworldly vocals’ (American Songwriter) and emotive delivery. “Revel,” which premiered yesterday on Americana Highways, offers heartening lyrics that implore the listener to find the good around them and to celebrate it. Chase Wright Releases Honest New Song “Lying With You”

Opening with the claim that “movin’ on ain’t that hard” and ending with the confession “if I tell you I’m through, I’d be lying with you,” the new track came from a sincere place in Wright’s journey as a songwriter. “Honesty in lyrics is what allows a song to connect with the listener, I really wanted to lean into those hard truths with this song,” 24-year-old Wright adds. “I hope people can hear their own story and experiences in mine and feel less alone.”

Mere weeks after the reveal of his anticipated third album, The Revenge Of Hobo Johnson, Hobo Johnson ( Frank Lopes Jr) today reveals the striking video for well received album cut, Anton Lavey. Speaking on the video, Johnson states:

“For some reason I received a book called “Satan Speaks” for my birthday. I’m not so sure I recommend the book, but Anton LaVey has a few interesting ideas to share. The song is about him entering into the afterlife, and meeting Satan who he loved. Like really, really loved. This is one of my favorite songs on the record and I hope you like it as well.”

EAST FOREST RELEASES NEW ALBUM ‘POSSIBLE’

EAST FOREST has just released Possible, an 11-track album focused on the hopefulness of possibilities, and the strength of being able to rebuild when you are left bare and vulnerable. Centered around the soft, warm tone of a weathered 102-year old Baldwin piano East Forest found in a local music shop, Possible leans into the contemporary classical underpinnings of his work, unspooling a cavalcade of stirring melodies intended to create a musical space for self-discovery and healing. The album is rounded out by string arrangements by Lorna Dune and members of the Boise Philharmonic 208 ensemble, as well as contributions by Bayo Akomolafe and Lorraine Weiss. Possible is the latest chapter in his ever-evolving career, which includes over 25 albums, including 2019’s album length collaboration with spiritual pioneer Ram Dass, and collaborations with Typhoon, Laraaji, Dead Prez, Trevor Hall, and more.
