El Michels Affair and Liam Bailey drop another single from the forthcoming Ekundayo Inversions album. This one was recorded during the Ekundayo sessions but did not make its way to the album. EMA takes the production to Liam’s part of the world with a track that borrows elements from that 90s Bristol Trip-Hop era and mixes them with the NY Soul El Michels has become synonymous with. Bailey is right at home on this soundscape as he weaves a self reflective tune about the struggles and growing pains he’s persevered through to get to this point.

Decibel writes, “The follow up to the band’s 2017 debut, Figure The 8, is set for release via the ever-reliable Selfmadegod label on August 6. But you don’t have to wait that long to hear a brand new brain-basher from sophomore slugger The Omega Kill, because Decibel has the premiere of the visualizer for ‘Living Library,’ along with some insightful context about the track from the legendary Shrew.”
“Apartment” is on the guitar-oriented side, definitely one for fans of artists like Men I Trust. With cicadas lurking in the background (you can hear them at the end of the song), it sounds like a breeze through the open window on a blazing summer day and is a great showcase for their poised and excellent vocals:

TESHER X JASON DERULO UNVEIL OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR “JALEBI BABY”
Canadian-Indian rapper/producer Tesher and award-winning singer/songwriter Jason Derulo play restaurant workers vying for the attention of a beautiful customer in the vibrant official video for their reimagination of Tesher’s global hit, “Jalebi Baby.” Director Gil Green (Drake, J Balvin, Nicki Minaj) captures the song’s Bollywood Hollywood vibe as Tesher and Derulo take turns fantasizing about performing for their Jalebi Baby. Choreographed by both Derulo’s long-time choreographer, Jeremy Kenyel, and Tesher’s choreographer/manager, Divya Jethwani, the video features multiple dance scenes – one of them marking the first time in history that a major American artist has performed a Bhangra routine on screen. NIKO RUBIO RELEASES NEW SONG “GO WITH YOU”
