Maths Time Joy x Rich share the intoxicating ‘Cut The BS’
Penned from the aftermath of an abusive relationship, the track is a cathartic vessel for the head-spinning after effects. Sharing more behind the track Rich Shared: I wrote this song after the fallout from the abusive relationship I sing about in Change. I would see my abuser’s friends every once in a while at parties and different social situations. My conversations with those friends always felt surface-level and overly-cordial. I felt like they weren’t being completely upfront, which led me to question who I could trust.

LA based alternative-pop band Paper Jackets have released their new single titled “Bones” today from their upcoming collection of songs Souvenirs Part Two. The single was produced/co-written by Wolves (Sabrina Carpenter, Lostboycrow) with additional co-writing by Jordan Frye (The Unlikely Candidates, Welshy Arms) and mixing by Jim Kaufman (Atlas Genius, Night Riots). Different in nature compared to previous Paper Jackets songs, “Bones” sees the band leaning more into an inclination towards darker material, with themes of getting out of your head, overcoming fear and finding faith – not in God but in yourself.

The sessions for George Harrison’s All Things Must Pass began just six weeks after the April 1970 announcement of The Beatles’ break-up. Two days were spent recording thirty demos that were being considered for his new, as yet untitled, album, in Studio Three at EMI Studios, Abbey Road in St. John’s Wood, London. The first day, May 26, saw Harrison record fifteen songs backed by Ringo Starr and his longtime friend, bassist Klaus Voormann, beginning with “All Things Must Pass.” The following day, May 27, George ran through an additional fifteen songs solo for co-producer Phil Spector on his own.
