TRAVIS THOMPSON RELEASES PARKED CARS FEATURING KOTA THE FRIEND AND KYLE

As told by Travis Thompson: So Parked Cars happened like halfway through the pandemic just on accident haha. I remember being locked inside the crib all day like damn…what can I even do? I just felt mad antsy and like I had to go somewhere. So, in turn me and my girlfriend just started going on mad drives. It felt like high school. Linking up, getting some terrible food, finding an overpass or lookout to smoke at; and having really long-drawn-out conversations about nothing haha. But I realized that exact energy is something that not only makes people young AND old feel nostalgic…but it might even hit way harder after not being able to do shit for a whole year.

Track Released Today from Karras

“Tonight” features a murky soundscape and driving vocal flow, exploring themes like religion, Pagan rituals, druids, and horror movie themes. The spacey vibes have drawn comparisons to Shabazz Palaces.

The Color Forty Nine Share Official Music Video for “Another World” Today

It’s difficult to place The Color Forty Nine into a simple box. Their music is an elegant mystery, spacious and lush, haunting and jubilant. It’s a balance of divergent themes and soundscapes, subtly unmoored to predictability. The lines between fiction and confession are blurred as the stories unfold hypnotic. The songs explore the pace and passage of hours, the struggles and joys in the process, the underbelly of intimacy, touch, the flood and rush of life, all delivered with a calm patience that conveys landscape and time. The music is a desert reflection on the border town complexities of San Diego and Tijuana, the unwanted fences, the blending of culture, the sprawling skies.

SCREAMING SHADOWS: single/video “Free Me” out now

Heavy/power metal traditions are strong in Italy, so it’s no wonder that, when guitar local virtuoso Francesco Marras (currently also a guitarist in Tygers Of Pan Tang) formed his own band in 1997, the chosen genre was the most obvious. Now, two decades and a half later, SCREAMING SHADOWS is one of the most established names in the heavy/power metal European scene. “Free Me”, the first song from the upcoming album of the band, foreshows what makes Screaming Shadows such a fantastic offering: a perfect mixture of classic heavy metal, melodic power metal, solid technical arguments, and punchy production.
