Goldie New Signing Littlecigarette Shares New Single And Video ‘Fur Coat’
With Fur Coat Littlecigarette offers a voice to marginalised, disaffected young youth. His story starts in a small-town in the UK, in which the only form of escape is getting high, his lyrics depict his lonely experience with addiction and the painfully subjective trawl for intensity and euphoria as the end in itself. The self-taught producer created the track in his bedroom armed only with Logic and a SM58 microphone. Not connected to any rap scene, his isolation from the rest of the world and a real passion for music have been the driving forces behind his music and storytelling.
Soaring off the back of March’s stirring “Blindside”, “Can’t Work You Out” explores the complexities of the mind’s self-deprecating, darker moments and the confusion caused by inward emotional battles. Echoing his love for the ocean, the cinematic buildup of instrumentation paired with Nathan’s growing melodic intensity is reminiscent of rolling waves and crashing tides.

UK Alt-Metal Unit VEXED Releases Bludgeoning New Single “Fake” + New Music Video
Nearing the eve of the release of their long-awaited debut album, Culling Culture, fast-rising UK based unit VEXED once again showcases the brutality they’re made of. Combining both visually cinematic and oppressively honest material with a refined symbiosis of technically adept hardness and droning heavy instrumentality, VEXED convince with their new single “Fake” – released today aside a disturbingly intense official music video.
Ruminating on the all-encompassing sensation that comes from falling in love, ‘Feel Like This’ is a smoky track, glistening with otherworldly guitar tones and vocal harmonies. The production, inspired by the leftfield Jazz-influenced indie and Hip-Hop of Slum Village, Oscar Jerome and Tom Misch, lifts the tune into an emotional hinterland. Like falling into pastel coloured clouds, it reflects the sentiment in the lyrics by giving way to both blissful comfort and distrustful confusion.
