Introducing alt-country rising stars Rider & Rolling Thunder

Today, Idaho alt-country rock band Rider & Rolling Thunder announces their debut EP On the Banks of the Tennessee with the release of the new single “Main St Shuffle.” The southern-twanged rocker shows off the band’s affinity for a good country-blues jam that features fiery guitars and shows off the band’s swagger. Turnstyled & Junkpiled said the song “evokes summer music festivals where the energy is humming and the excitement connects the crowd as they move in place to the music. It’s a song that is ready to party just as the nation is opening up after over a year of lockdown.”

On the song, upbeat piano keys introduce her melodic vocals and confident prose. Backed by echoing murmurs, confessional lyrics delineate a journey of remaining faithful through acts of “Full Time Love.” “I wrote this song at a time in my life when I was searching for an unfailing love; one without an expiration and I found it in God,” says LaTocha. The track excitingly paves the way for her new solo album, The Invitation, coming very soon.

The song is on his forthcoming debut album Meadow Rock (out 6/18), a nine-song set inspired by our natural surroundings in California – including the mountain ranges throughout.

As Joe explains, “Songbird Revisited” is “like a deer still rubbing the felt off his antlers, this song has a youthful perspective.” While “El Capitan” is about the Yosemite Valley and the Sierras, where “the protagonist senses deeper metaphysical vibrations amid memories of past visits with loved ones.”

Indie Rockers Arts Fishing Club Release New EP, The Show

An alternative rock band with pop hooks, indie sensibilities, and indie-folk roots, Arts Fishing Club built its audience the old-school way; by piling its members into a van and hitting the road. As Arts Fishing Club’s touring schedule grew, so did the band’s sound. It was a natural evolution of a band whose members had begun to turn up their guitar amps, dig into their 90s’ rock influences, and create new songs that were every bit as electrifying as their shows.

Still Woozy Shares Dreamy New Single and Video “Kenny”

“Kenny” finds Still Woozy in a reflective headspace. As he strums an acoustic guitar with dizzy melodies ringing in the distance, he mulls over the memories of old relationships and imagines a life of self-fulfillment and inner strength. “Don’t pay me no mind, I’ll be fine,” he sings. “I’ll pull myself together this time.” The instrumental is slow and sentimental, a pace and headspace he says was inspired by some time he spent living in the vast expanses of the American West.
