Today, Idaho alt-country rock band Rider & Rolling Thunder announces their debut EP On the Banks of the Tennessee with the release of the new single “Main St Shuffle.” The southern-twanged rocker shows off the band’s affinity for a good country-blues jam that features fiery guitars and shows off the band’s swagger. Turnstyled & Junkpiled said the song “evokes summer music festivals where the energy is humming and the excitement connects the crowd as they move in place to the music. Ali Barter Shares Lyric Video For “Chocolate Cake”
The Chocolate Cake EP was written across both hemispheres. Barter engaged in writing sessions in Los Angeles and Nashville before the crushing reality of COVID-19 jeopardized her first US tour and forced her back home to isolate in Melbourne. The EP was rounded out remotely with the help of creative minds Harlan Silverman, Lost Boy, K-Flay, who co-wrote the EP title track, Brandon James and lockdown buddy/ husband Oscar Dawson.

Oakland Legend Dru Down (Bootsy Collins’ Son) Announces New LP
Dru Down released his debut album ‘Fools from the Streets’ in 1993. The local success of this record led to him signing with Relativity Records, a Sony Music imprint, to release his second album, ‘Explicit Game’, in 1994. The album spawned Dru Down’s most successful single to date, “Pimp of the Year”, which peaked at #65 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed on the Billboard charts for 24 weeks.
On the song, upbeat piano keys introduce her melodic vocals and confident prose. Backed by echoing murmurs, confessional lyrics delineate a journey of remaining faithful through acts of “Full Time Love.” “I wrote this song at a time in my life when I was searching for an unfailing love; one without an expiration and I found it in God,” says LaTocha. The track excitingly paves the way for her new solo album, The Invitation, coming very soon.

Recorded live off the floor in Toronto, it’s from our rock n roll-inspired sophomore album, Born 2 Boogie, which will be released on June 25 as we try to make sense of the human experience following our collective anxiety in this uneasy state of the world.
New wave hip-hop artist Sophiegrophy continues on her genre bending fow with new double AA side release “Cringe / You’re the Boss” .
