Pink & White Terraces is the latest musical project of Berlin-based, NZ-born artist PAWS+ (Aporia, The Tarts). The album is a love letter to the South Pacific, inspired by the artist’s Māori roots, a love of lush ’50s guitars, glassy ’80s Japanese sounds and Moogy synths.

Decibel Magazine is currently streaming “The Vaults Of Strangling Fear” from Hungarian death conjurors MEPHITIC GRAVE. The premiere comes in advance of the band’s Into The Atrium Of Inhuman Morbidity debut, set for release May 7th via Carbonized Records.

Lyrics of the single tell about a mentally disturbed man, who has lost control over himself under the influence of retrograde Mercury, and about how his inflamed mind conceives the reality in the moment of impaired judgment. Black Label Society debuts “Heart of Darkness” music video, new box set out now
Black Label Society shared their newest music video for the rip-roaring single “Heart of Darkness” today in continued celebration of their NONE MORE BLACK box set, available now via Entertainment One (eOne). The track is originally from their ninth studio album Catacombs of the Black Vatican (2014), now remastered and reissued as a double LP in the career-spanning NONE MORE BLACK box set that includes their deep catalog, now on 20 newly pressed and repackaged pieces of vinyl. The “Heart of Darkness” official music video features Zakk Wylde and co. performing the fan-favorite with psychedelic flair.
Minneapolis-based emo/post-hardcore quintet Dead History, whose members include stalwarts of the formative emo/hardcore years in various scenes across the Upper Midwest, has dropped a new song “Empty Eyes”. Today, Danny released the video for the EP’s single “Cigarettes and Sunburn” — “the song is about love cut short by time and circumstance,” says Golden. “It’s about the promise of new love and the mystery of what could have been. The song and video explore the pain of loss, which, like a sunburn, lingers until it slowly fades away.”
