When Heavy Feather’s first album “Débris & Rubble” (2019) was released, it became praised by both press and audience; taking the band out to tour Europe. Now it ́s time for their second album, “Mountain of sugar”; an even rawer, heavier, and harder release than the previous one, still with the root rock and psychedelic touch at the very core.
Mr.Chicken “Never Could” New Single! Rostrum Records
Lynne Taylor Donovan released her much-anticipated new single Tennessee Whiskey to radio April 2. The song was recorded under strict Covid protocols using masks, social distancing and sanitizers.
The vocals were recorded over two days. Each artist had their own mic and no two artists were in the booth at the same time. It was quite a challenge but the session went very well.
Tennessee Whiskey was released in Europe on HOTDISC. It will be released to North America and Australia on April 15.
It is now available from all of the download and streaming providers.
NOTHING NOBLE present groovy second single ‘Eternal Change’
Copenhagen-based progressive metalcore outfit NOTHING NOBLE provide neck-breaking, bouncy grooves that grow ever heavier and darker with every frustrated yell and growl from the gut of vocalist Cornelius Qvist. Following up on their first single ‘Bond of Blood’ which featured Brendan Murphy of COUNTERPARTS/END, they now present their energetic second single ‘Eternal Change’ – watch the music video above.
Regarding the song Andreas says, “‘Hey Lulu’ is a song about the best kind of friendship. Regardless of the circumstances, distance, of time, you will always be there for them – no matter what. You will always do your best to listen without judgement, to encourage and show them that they are loved and appreciated in a permanent way. This friendship in the song is with a girl called Lulu… I think we all have at least one Lulu in our life who we feel deserves more and can achieve more with the right kind of love and support.”
After taking a step back from music to focus on her studies and to refine her voice as a songwriter, British-Norwegian artist Emilie Adams is back with a bang on stunning new single “Play God”. It’s out today via Sony Music.

Kent-based alt-rockers Dohny Jep release music video for latest single Fade
Kent-based alternative-rock four-piece Dohny Jep began as a duo in early 2019, with Stuart and Pete deciding to create something unlike anything either of them had done before in previous bands and projects. With their unique video concepts and mesh of pop-synth melodies and rock guitars, they did just that. Fast forward one year and with an additional two members in tow, the group self-released their much celebrated debut album L.U.S.T in July 2020.
‘The Night Away’ blends glistening synths and funk-filled vocals for a song with a message aimed at a generation that are caught in a consumerist loop. Dada Popare made up of highly trained musicians Noah Gold and Urban Ghost, inspired by the avant-garde art movement of dada-ism, Dada Pop fuses multiple stylistic forms spanning visual, literary, and sound media into its own unique expression.

JAEL – ‘Half As Much’
Representing real and relatable feelings of a couple wanting to be together and loving each other’s company, but not wanting to label their relationship as they crave space and time, the eleven track project follows a strong theme of love throughout, with the lead single perfectly continuing the narrative in a smooth visual.
My Glass World is the long term project of Jamie Telford, who has played with The Jam, Richard Strange and more, as well as composing both Classical and Film music. Lately he’s written the music for a new film released in May called ‘I’m Not In Love’ featuring arrangements of Purcell and Chopin. Both film music and album were recorded with the assistance of Sean Read. The new album was largely written and recorded remotely from Scotland, and features a wide variety of musicians. The tracks were then compiled and mixed in Sean’s “Famous Times” studio in Clapton.
The catchy warped acoustic melodies of ‘Drinking Tang’ expand into bubbly synths and ice-cream sweet reflective heart-tugging goodness. It is a playful melting pot of genres and emotions that reflect-back on Dee’s religious upbringing. More info below.
Snasen (Norway, techno/post-rock/beats/electronica) – ‘The Eyes The Eyes’ – New single out now!
SNASEN’s unique sound might nod to dub, hip hop, post-rock and techno, but that’s only within his already organic, textured, signature style. Using a mix of acoustic and electronic instruments, he creates a layered sound in which new treasures are revealed with each listen. Many of his new album’s tracks are centred around an old metallophone, found in an abandoned school building: never content with stock sounds, SNASEN records and manipulates each frequency, finding ways to make them float organically into his own universe.
