REALITY GREY To Release Pure Melodic Anger With New Album “Beneath This Crown”
Reality Grey has three official music videos out for tracks off of “Beneath This Crown”, “Daybreakers” (2018), “The Void” (2018), and “The Fury” (2019). These videos are the first glimpse into the current phase of Reality Grey. The album shows a marked evolution in the band’s sound, something that will intrigue current fans and entice new ones. Reality Grey is excited to show off comments on the album:
“The recording process for Beneath This Crown” was totally different than with other records. We had the chance to do the pre-production at Divergent Studios, we had as much time as we needed to arrange the album, so we could do more experimentation with our music, with clean vocals, synths, kind of some spacey/soundtrack-like feel, something we wanted to do since 2006, but we didn’t have money/time for that.”

Last month, Field Music – the English “national treasures” (NME) composed of Sunderland-born brothers Peter and David Brewis – shared their single “Orion From The Street,” a track which built some considerable excitement among the Field Music-faithful (including their fellow indie veteran The New Pornographers’ AC Newman) about what might becoming next from the band. Ever prolific, the duo have released two full lengths since 2018 that neatly encapsulate the band’s unique approach: a critically-adored new wave-addled art pop LP about Brexit in 2018s Open Here, and a high concept song cycle about the aftermath of the First World War, Making A New World in 2020. Today, the band are announcing their 8th studio full length Flat White Moon (due out April 23rd via Memphis Industries), and sharing the album’s lead single “No Pressure.”

Swedish psychedelic doom-riffers DOMKRAFT have released the infectious and pounding first single “Dawn of Man” from their highly-anticipated forthcoming third full-length “Seeds”, which will hit stores on April 30.
The third full-length BLUE OX LP Holy Vore showcases a thundering union of metallic hardcore, d-beat punk, catchy mid-paced chugging, mosh bursts, and fervent howling vocals, embodied by lyrical themes of despair and self-sabotage.
