The Big Idea – new video “XV”

In 2017, The Big Idea, French psychedelic sextet from La Rochelle, released a first and mad first album. 21 songs on 4 discs called La Passion du Crime 3, in which the band did what he did best, everything. Garage rock, psychedelic pop, experimental and acoustic music. The album is the soundtrack for an imaginary erotic detective novel, depicting 80s London through the investigation of Inspector Lawrence.

Three years later, sound engineer Stéphane Gillet came across the tapes and offer the band to remix and remaster this monumental album.

BOY UNTITLED x GESS – IMPOSTER

L.A. based recording and visual artist BOY UNTITLED presents the video for new single ‘IMPOSTER’, a collaboration with fellow queer artist GESS. Known for his vulnerable electronica x pop fusions; BOY UNTITLED’s video for IMPOSTER is a visual representation of the explorative, personal club track that follows themes of identity, anxiety, and solace found by disguising who we are. Directed by Felipe Nogueira and Vince Coconato, the IMPOSTER video follows BOY UNTITLED and GESS as they journey through lucid landscapes complete with dramatic lighting; with set design by queer Latino artist Simon Malvaez. The unique team of artists working on this project combine energies to create an entrancing visual reflection; perfectly capturing the nature of IMPOSTER.

He realized at an early age that having control of your emotions was a mechanism for survival – a Stoic touchstone. Not having a name for it at the time, he eventually came across the writings of Epicurus, whose philosophies reaffirmed Heno.’s outlook on death, emotions, etc.. all philosophies omnipresent in the album and it’s first single/video “Blackstarrr”.

’68 announce new album ‘Give One Take One’ with heavy new single

The noisy Atlanta duo ’68 announced their highly anticipated third full-length album Give One Take One, due out March 26 via Cooking Vinyl. To celebrate the momentous occasion, the band debuted the lead single “The Knife, The Knife, The Knife” alongside a music video created by vocalist and guitarist Josh Scogin (The Chariot, Norma Jean). Completed by drummer Nikko Yamada, the duo burst in with their signature blues-inspired and crushing wall of sound, marking some of their catchiest work yet with tinges of doom, alternative rock, offering only a moment of reprieve before diving into the distinctive and heavy chorus. Produced by the Grammy-winner Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush, Alice In Chains), who became a believer after just a few songs of a ’68 live set, Give One Take One offers the best of the band’s raucous yet dynamic songwriting with plenty of personalities and indomitable groove.

Giorgio Leone (IT), Italian Dj based in Taipei released its track “​Infectious​” with the label “Neu Gravity”.

Born and raised in Catania, Italy, he showed interest since the beginning for Techno and Minimal House music, getting closer to the local underground scene he was influenced by the DJs and the producers he admired becoming friends first then colleagues later.

Since he landed in Taiwan he had the chance to meet some of the most known Techno djs in the country and started to produce tracks to please the Taiwanese scene with success and together with them he founded Our Muzik, a group that aims to spread the techno culture in Taiwan.

The diversity of Brown’s musical experience is the driving force of LFT:RT. The album’s title represents Brown’s attempt to break down the binary thinking so often used to sort complex human life into simplified categories. “I say I’m left-handed, yet I’m extremely ambidextrous,” Brown says. Realizing his drumming “was not left- or right-handed, but a continuous circle that connects at points of contact,” his ideas and phrasing themselves became more fluid, more flexible.

Like it’s namesake, Okfuskee Whiskey is a “Made In Oklahoma” song written by Webb and rising local songwriter, Matt Shannon. Produced by GRAMMY-winning producer Buddy Cannon, the record blends Webb’s influences of Red Dirt, Outlaw and New Country as the song weaves classic storytelling with vivid imagery and anthemic vocals. It also features Webb’s trademark neotraditional fiddle and steel sound.
