Dennis Lloyd Releases New Single and Video For “Anxious”

“Anxious” off Dennis’ forthcoming debut album set for release later this year, chronicles what is described as his “darkest period in his life.” While Dennis’ 2018 single, “Nevermind” was becoming a global success, things couldn’t be more stressful and tense for him behind the scenes. Dennis had hopes to release “Never Go Back” as his follow up single, while his previous label did not agree with that creative direction and blocked Dennis from releasing new music. A year-long legal dispute between the two parties followed, which led to Dennis experiencing serious depression and anxiety, not knowing if he would ever be able to release music again.

Today, the critically acclaimed duo HAERTS (Nini Fabi and Benny Gebert) shared their gorgeously swaying, third track “Shivering” HERE from their upcoming, third album Dream Nation which will come out on March 12th on Rix Records / The Orchard & Humming Records.

About “Shivering”, Nini Fabi says: “The song came from this organ groove Benny came up with and the onomatopoeic quality of the word “Shivering” itself. It’s about the obsession and attraction of the things which give us anxiety and disturb us. In a way it’s our soundtrack to a panic attack.”

The story of chillpill the artist begins in an alternate 2-D cartooniverse. chillpill grew up feeling like he had no purpose and struggled to find his place, until he found music. “On the surface level, it’s a fun genre-blending idea, almost a tongue in cheek flip on pop culture. On a deeper level, it’s really a dark comedy and commentary on the state of the music industry” says chillpill on his inspiration behind the project.

The Mobile Homes formed in 1984, and have had various lineup arrangements since that time. Now, fans will hear founding members return: with brothers Andreas Brun, Patrik Brun, and Hans Erkendal, along with Sami Sirviö and Markus Mustonen (Kent).

The band has collaborated with Julian Beeston (Nitzer Ebb), and Denniz Pop, Karl Bartos (ex Kraftwerk), among others. They’ve also toured with bands such as Laibach and Nitzer Ebb. In 1998 they released the album ‘The Mobile Homes’, with Karl Bartos of Kraftwerk. Their sound has been compared to Depeche Mode.
