Originally released on January 11, 1971–three months after Joplin’s passing on October 4, 1970, and eight days before what would have been her 28th birthday on January 19–Pearl debuted Janis’ last completed studio recordings as well as intimations of what the influential American country-soul-blues-rock singer was capable of delivering.

Deforestation is the second largest contributor to the Climate Crisis. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) – the United Nations body for assessing the science related to climate change – warns that deforestation intensifies the effects of climate change, such as water scarcity, drought and food shortages.
