Ocean’s Envy is a Dallas, Texas based powerhouse of a band from frontman Kurt Mantheiy. Kurt spent the genesis of his musical career playing and touring in hardcore/punk bands and now brings that counter culture intensity to the more mature sounds of Ocean’s Envy. By day Kurt works as an entertainment lawyer (sometimes arguing with your favorite bands management and legal counsel), but by nights he is posted up in the studio blending emotional guitars and heavy synths with passioned vocals. The songwriting goes as deep as the wounds left from a life of chronic illness and heartbreak, but with a light at the end of the tunnel.

Jig has a lot in store for the hip-hop world. As a member of the hip-hop duo 4n Boyz, he has released some notable music to date. The duo’s 6 track mixtape titled 4n Affairs features hot tracks “Auto Jig” and “Auto Hammy”. Jig has only touched the surface, though. “My single ‘All In’ was inspired by the first time I met my boyfriend and the adventures we would go on and things that he did that caught my attention,” Jenny shared with Flaunt. “We had this instant connection that I knew I couldn’t look past. When creating the video for the track, I pulled inspiration from videos of the late 90s and early 2000s, which I have always been obsessed with since growing up. You see fish eye lens shots, low angles, pops of colors, and of course, 90s “Robot” back up dancers.”

David Bowie Birthday Single Available January 8 With Covers Of Mother And Tryin’ To Get To Heaven
To celebrate what would have been the 74th birthday of David Bowie on January 8, two previously unreleased cover versions John Lennon’s “Mother” and Bob Dylan’s “Tryin’ To Get To Heaven” will be released as a very special limited edition 7” single.
The 7” single is limited to 8147 numbered copies, 1000 of which will be on cream colored vinyl available only from the official David Bowie store and Rhino.com (the remainder will be black). Both tracks will be available to stream and download.
