Pop Artist Rue Vox Releases “River”

Delivering a rare, but true rendition of another artist’s song is sometimes challenging to handle. However, there are times when the utmost respect is given and a song becomes a new piece all its own from the very start. Such is the case of the “River” (Bishop Briggs) cover enveloped by the sultry soulful rocking vocals of the artist Rue Vox. “River” flows as if it were meant to be Rue’s all along.

Quelle Chris – Sacred Safe (prod. Chris Keys) | New Video

“Sacred Safe is the physical, mental or spiritual place you go when you don’t want to be reached by others. Be it depression, stress/exhaustion or the many other reasons. Be it in your best interest or your worst. You just want to be away. Protected from help or/and hurt. Sort of a fortress of solitude that can be both external and internal.” – Quelle Chris

Check Out Rapper Racquel Jones’ Incendiary “Sacrilege”

“‘Sacrilege’ is a blatant denouncement of religion, specifically Catholicism and what it represents for Black people whose history was intercepted by slavery. For my people, religion/Christianity was used as a tool of oppression and control while the heritage of our spiritual identity was erased. It is important for me to begin the discussion about the damages that religion has done to us as a people through the programming of our ancestors during slavery and beyond; and the strides we need to take to heal, unlearn, relearn, correct and salvage what is left of our true identity and teach that to our kids. So we’ll begin by turning our bibles to 1 Peter 2:18 King James Version.”
