Artist: Craymo – Track: December Rain
Craymo released this single in loving memory of his Mom who recently passed away. December Rain (Carol of Love) is a classic, timeless, heartfelt ballad along the lines of Lewis Capaldi, Elton John and Robbie Williams. Craymo co-wrote the song with Composer Paul Dinletir way back in the late 80’s-early 90’s and originally recorded it only as a demo. Craymo’s mom, Carol told her son that it was one of her favorite songs that he ever wrote and performed. Craymo said: “When my mom passed away I wanted to go into the studio to record a full proper version of the song in her honor. “December Rain” is about a broken heart and unrequited love. My mom was always there for me through all my heartbreaks in life so it was the perfect song!”

Lil Freaky feat. Future x Herion Young – 27 Birdz [DJ Pack]
The two-song EP — divided simply into “Drone Relief I” and “Drone Relief II” — was produced, mixed, and mastered by Jones and is the intended companion to Drone Box, released via Scry Recordings in 2019. The work features a heavy emphasis on the tanpura, a long-necked plucked string instrument, originating from India, found in various forms of Indian music. The tanpura does not play melody but rather supports and sustains the melody of another instrument or singer by providing a continuous harmonic bourdon or drone.

SLENDERBODIES RETURN WITH STELLAR NEW SINGLE “CHERRY BLOSSOM”
“we went in the studio with jeremy from marian hill at the top of the year and he was working with a ton of granular synthesis on vocals and foley samples. if you’re unfamiliar, this kind of synthesis involves taking a really small sample (a “grain”) of a sound and warping it through repetition or stretching. you end up with these really wild sonic characteristics by focusing on such a atomic piece of the sound. we were super inspired by this, so when we sat down to write cherry blossoms we wanted to apply the same technique to our guitar. every synth in the song is some amalgamation of vocals or guitar, granularized and melded with other found sounds. the lyrics and story of cherry blossom reflect this creative process as our protagonist finds themselves looking for the little beauties around them like patterns colors and nature.”
