Sir Sly Releases New Single “Little Deaths”

Sir Sly lead singer and guitarist Landon Jacobs said of the track, “To put it simply, “Little Deaths” is a song about letting go. For as long as I can remember I’ve been obsessive about habits, relationships, and most everything else in my life. When I started writing the lyrics for “Little Deaths,” I wanted to talk about quitting smoking, but it quickly transformed into a song about quitting a myriad of things. Ultimately it became a song about quitting the way I tell myself negative stories. Music has always been the most immediate way I feel connected, but the story I’ve told myself for so long is that I’m alone, inherently bad, and generally prone to screwing things up for myself. This song turned into a breath of fresh air, a commitment to being easier on myself and the people around me, and a celebration of the human ability to grow, learn from our mistakes, and change over time.”

WENS explains, “falling in love for the first time is completely terrifying, its all consuming and the most beautiful thing until it isn’t. i wanted my relationship to work so badly that i slowly chipped away at myself til i lost who i was without that person. and i so desperately wished that we could go back to the beginning before we had experienced any kind of friction. i was trying so hard to bring us back to life but my harsh reality was that it’s nearly impossible to repair something that is past the point of being fixed.”

Collie Buddz New Song ‘Close To You’ Out Now

“New World Order” by Faithless Town

Austin by way of Los Angeles artist Baby FuzZ releases the environmentalist arena rock anthem “Welcome To The Future., ” the title track from his forthcoming full length album due out early next year. “‘Welcome To The Future,’ is a glam rock environmentalist song, “ says Baby FuzZ. That sounds like a paradigm, but that’s kind of the point. The lyrics comically inhabit the carefree lives of a Karen, a Kevin, and even an alcoholic orca to point out the fleetingness that is earth. I wrote it with Scott Harris (Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes) and Eric Nally (Foxy Shazam, Macklemore – “Downtown”), so it has this incredible arena rock energy that conveys the scale and importance taking care of the planet, but also hyper lowbrow lyrics that make the idea feel more like a dada indictment of our current outlook rather than a didactic ‘We Are The World” spinoff. ‘ I wanted it to set a more forceful tone for my newer music that raises the stakes and makes the things I’m pointing out feel more actionable.” Weaving elements of 100 gecs, My Chemical Romance, and Queen, Baby FuzZ creates something wholly original that seems to set an important tone for his sophomore effort that’s at once both apocalyptic and fun.

Consequently, you are locked out of the trappings of fame and wealth that go to the people on the A Side.
