Acrolysis/Reaver: Release their new split EP The Nobody Crowd & Lyric Video for the title track

Acrolysis and Reaver release the remaining tracks from their sophomore split EP, The Nobody Crowd, with their mission-statement title track and the pounding, thought-provoking Visions.

Unlike the previously released singles, these two songs are a collaborative effort between both bands. Konstantine Ana, vocalist/guitarist of Acrolysis and bassist of Reaver says “We wanted to do something unique when doing this joint/split EP. Usually, bands do something like this to save costs and they generally feature a song each. We did that with A Message to You (Acrolysis) and Broken Smoker (Reaver) but we wanted to try and collaborate with each other. We were excited to work with one another to create something together. It’s something that hasn’t been done before to my knowledge so hearing how our styles blend together was an exciting experience.”

Today, everyone knows the setlist, everyone knows the special effects.

Luke’s instantly identifiable vocals then drop in with an emotive verse transporting the song into singer/songwriter territory.

New > AMA Reveals New Single > ‘FACTS’ > (Dirty Hit) > Out Today, listen here

‘FACTS’ is the knockout new single from AMA, the first track to be taken from her forthcoming EP due for release early 2021 on Dirty Hit. Following her second EP ‘PIXELHEART’ released earlier this year, ‘FACTS’ sees the West Londoner exploring her pop-side over production by young UK producers Harley & Ferg and Daniel Hylton-Nuamah. ‘FACTS’ was premiered by Annie Mac on her BBC Radio 1 show last night.

On writing ‘FACTS’ AMA says “Basically sometimes I can just be a stubborn ass bitch. I can also tend to get stuck in unhealthy routines or patterns and the most helpful thing in those moments for me sometimes is a slap of the truth from the people I love or even from myself. Facts is all about getting out of your funk, facing the harsh truth head on and auctioning that”.

THE HOT ONE TWO drop brand new single PLAYING WITH FIRE

Brit rockers The Hot One Two are back with their new single Playing With Fire delivering a dirty riff driven, hook heavy slab of rock n roll. The Hot One Two are reminiscent of that classical sound many of us fell in love with, infused with modern day anthemic rock. The track is guitar driven showing crushing grooves and soaring vocals. This is certainly the kind of rock track that you play loud, ignore the neigbours and sing your heart out to! The only bad thing that can be said about this 4:20 track is that it has to end!

Playing With Fire is the second single they have released following up from their tour clip video for Rolling Stone. Great news for fans, the band have also dropped hints with Fireworks Magazine that we should expect an album next year! If the last two singles are anything to go by, it’s going to be a must buy for rock fans and certainly gives us all the more reason to look forward to 2021!

Directed by Arnaud Deroudilhe (Kaytranada, Mayer Hawthorne, Busy P.), the video tells the story of a woman in an apartment that looks like an abandoned hotel worthy of the Shining, all alone with her demons, facing herself in the mirror, leading to madness. Controlled movement, slowed traffic, parties at a standstill, if there is indeed a situation where “the movement” could be elected “the most ironic and controversial gesture” of the year 2020, it would be this winter.

CATHOLIC GUILT (Melbourne, AUS) Gets Animated In Heartfelt New “Life In Three Part Harmony” Video Reminding Us Of The Unifying Power Of Live Music

Singer Brenton Harris says, ‘Life in Three Part Harmony’ is a love song to the awesome connective power of live music. There’s something magical that happens when a music lover is watching their favourite act perform live. They become immersed in music. It takes over their mind, body and soul, and for those precious few minutes or hours, they are connected on a near-spiritual wavelength with the artist. This is a song for anyone who understands that moment when an artist hits the high note and it penetrates your soul, and you look around and notice another human experiencing that special rush too. That moment has completely changed each of our lives numerous times. On a personal note, this song is a celebration of my happiest place: the front row of a sold-out show, with my partner by my side, singing the words at the top of our lungs like our very existence depends on it.”
