Like the famous saying “Go big or go home”, Kamloops, BC-based pop singer-songwriter Madison Olds says her iridescent new track “Bad Thing” examines how if she’s already gonna do something bad it “might as well be good.” She explains, “It’s a flirtatious tale of a girl who fights herself from falling for someone who may or may not be trouble, even though their attraction to one another have her going crazy.” Though the song is as simple as the hook, “If I’m gonna do a bad thing, I’m gonna do you,” it’s left up to the listener to decide if she follows through.

“Fantasy is getting on a spaceship and teleporting anywhere your dreams can imagine,” Whethan shared. “I wanted to make a project that was full of energy and artists that I’m inspired by. There was an underlying theme of alternative meets psychedelic dance music and I wanted to be able to blast every song at my shows or have it feel like you’re at a show when listening at home or in the car. I got to work with some of my favorite artists like RL Grime, Grouplove, The Wombats, bülow, and many more. Modular synths comprise the sum of ‘Glass Table’s’ parts per Robot Love’s usual modus operandi, each piece of gear carefully arranged into emotive slices of experimental electronica. “Tangle” centers around its distorted vocal clips, which are surrounded by fluttering harmonic patches and a soft low-end.
