“Bedroom pop for emo kids” is the preferred genre for California band Crooked Teeth and their new music video and single “Gone Forever”. Nostalgic guitar leads and alternative rock lyrics from vocalist and guitarist Tyson Evans have led to praise from KROQ radio, Earmilk, and single “Beg” surpassing 500k streams. Earmilk describes the band’s current single, “Beg,” as being “the defining decision we’ve all had to make…between leaving the bar early OR staying out till all hours of the night and succumbing to a hellish hangover the next morning. It’s a true headbanger and millennial emo-anthem of 2019”.

Building on the heavy-hitting sound of ‘Tower’, ‘Megacities’ opens with a filtered riff that soon gives way deep rhythmic drums.
PA’s Floorbird Release New Single “Navy Blue”
From the ‘burbs of Philadelphia comes indie/emo 4-piece Floorbird. The band’s new EP ‘Fall Apart Anywhere’ will be released on September 25th and they’re giving listeners a taste, with the release of their new single “Navy Blue” which is the follow up to the recent single “I’m Not Nervous.”
Gab De La Vega releases new video “I Still Believe”
Gab De La Vega presents “I Still Believe”, his third video from the new album “Beyond Space And Time”, released on January 24th.
The italian born musician grew up in the punk and hardcore scenes but he found a way to express himself through softer sounds in the last decade. His third full length sees the definitive opening to a collaboration with a supporting band, with which he was able to play some shows to promote his new album before the Covid emergency, in addition to the debut full band show as an opening act to Frank Turner last year.
But “I Still Believe” rediscovers the essentiality of the most direct and personal communication of a songwriter who is not afraid to step on stage alone.
KHORS – Release Music Video For “Beneath the Keen Edge of Time”
The lyrics to this song is Julian Shpol’s poem “About Myself”. Mykhailo Yalovy, also known by the pseudonym Julian Shpol, became the first prisoner of the House “Slovo”. His arrest in the spring of 1933 marked the beginning of a wave of repression against Ukrainian cultural figures. His poem “About Myself” is one of his last lines. He was shot in the Sandarmokh tract on November 3, 1937. Julian Shpol belonged to the representatives of Ukrainian futurists – the avant-garde trend in Ukrainian literature.

He developed a keen interest in music at an early age and started making music in his early secondary school days, where he was known as Rico before he evolved to Rico P and finally a pop talent under the name Jobaa; which is which is his first name (“Oluwajoba”) and first letter of his surname (“Aina”).

She writes songs about things like the afterlife, summoning the Devil, and hearing voices, speaking for people unable to speak for themselves. Johnny Smoke is a Billboard chart topping producer, John Lennon Award winning songwriter, artist and founder of DEAD|END KIDS record label in Los Angeles. He has also gained recognition working as a producer for OWSLA/Atlantic, Nickelodeon, Scooter Braun, Universal Pictures, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and more. Originally from New York, Johnny began his musical career as a rap artist in the 80’s. Influenced heavily by the rebellious nature of Hip Hop and Punk, he began performing at the age 11 and advanced to sharing stages with his band The Basiqs opening for national artists Ghostface & Raekwon (Wu Tang), Talib Kweli, Mary J. Blige, The Roots and more. At 19 he was briefly signed to Quincy Jones’ label Qwest/Warner Records as “GAGE”. A name he would continue to use as a producer up until his first solo release in 2020.
