Patti LaBelle & Full Force Ain’t Nuthin’ But A Feelin’ (EP) Out Now via Geffen/UMe

“Ain’t Nuthin’ But A Feelin'” was produced and written by Full Force, with background vocals and instrumentals performed by Full Force and Cheryl Pepsii Riley. This high octane single comes equipped with LaBelle’s legendary soaring vocals and has various new mixes, such as the super fresh “Cleaning House Mix” and the “The Ozone Layer Mix,” both of which are spearheaded by DJ Geenius (AKA Baby Gerry of Full Force), as well as the “M & M Mix” created by Remixer/Producer/DJ John Morales. Each remix was created using the song’s original analog tapes along with Full Force’s celebrated production. Showcasing its timelessness, the song is a rebirth for dance music enthusiasts for decades to come.


Grammy winner, multiple Billboard Hot 100 chart topping artist and international reggae icon, Buju Banton, today releases a remix bundle for his explosive single “Blessed” off his long-awaited album, “Upside Down 2020,” his first full-length studio album in a decade. The album was released this summer on June 26. The Dave Kelly produced “Blessed” gets a four-track remix bundle that features the likes of Fabolous and Jadakiss, Farruko and Patoranking. “Blessed More Blessed,” the remix bundle is available to stream.

Nine-time Grammy award winner Sheryl Crow has today announced a pair of virtual concert performances, entitled “Songs From The Big Green Barn”, which will be broadcast live on September 18th and 19th, 2020 at livestream.sherylcrow.com The two shows, which will take place at Crow’s “Big Green Barn”, are markedly different in format: September 18th’s “Outside” performance, airing at 9PM ET, will be a fully electric, rousing outdoor show featuring members of Crow’s touring band. The “Inside” show, broadcast on Saturday September 19th at 1PM ET, will be a stripped down, intimate acoustic set also featuring accompaniment from members of Crow’s touring band. The song selection will vary across both shows and include classic hits, fan favorites, and deep tracks. Crow has also solicited fans to submit song requests on her social media accounts, which will influence the set lists.

Rucci Announces ‘Midget’ Project, Shares New “Okay Doee” Single With ALLBLACK

A powerful yet fragile mix of poetic lyrics and transcendent textures … Brighton art-pop makers Zooni today release their latest single ‘Cascara’. In 2019, Black V Neck made their grand entrance on DIRTYBIRD with the lauded ‘Mouth Music.’ They make their return to the label today with a fresh and funky new two-tracker, this time dubbed ‘Bounce Music.’

One might expect the EP to incite bouncing per the title Black V Neck have bestowed upon it, and indeed it delivers. A springy bassline on its title track paired with a distorted “bounce” vocal mimics the feeling implied, and fits in well with DIRTYBIRD’s quirkier side. “What She Wants” is equally buoyant, and like its predecessor, uses vocals as a main pillar of its construction. This time, however, the duo lean deeper into their eccentricity with various bites of synth and other sound effects.

Adam Hender releases brand new single ‘Sick’

Kelsy Karter Releases New Single, Announces Debut Album

LA by-way-of New Zealand artist Kelsy Karter is excited to release her fiercely anthemic new single and music video for “Love Me Or Hate Me,” out everywhere today via BMG. Co-written with The Struts’ Adam Slack and her longtime collaborator Michael Morgan, the track matches its fuzzed-out riffs and frenetic rhythms with a message especially close to Karter’s heart. “I wrote ‘Love Me or Hate Me’ at a time when I was feeling like I wasn’t good enough, and the thing that pulled me through was my fans,” says Karter. “They made me believe in myself again, and so I wanted to write them a song to make them feel the way they made me feel: like I’m a bad-ass, and I can do anything.”

David Bowie Metrobolist (aka The Man Who Sold The World) 50th Anniversary Edition Available November 6

Parlophone Records is proud to announce release details for METROBOLIST (aka THE MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD) 50th ANNIVERSARY EDITION to be released on November 6, 2020.

This November sees the 50th Anniversary of the release of David Bowie’s The Man Who Sold The World in North America. The rest of the world would have to wait until April 1971 to witness Bowie’s landmark entry into the 1970s, marking the beginning of a collaboration with guitarist Mick Ronson that would last through classic works including Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust and Aladdin Sane—as well as the first in a 10-year series of indispensable albums stretching through 1980’s Scary Monsters…

Originally titled Metrobolist, the album’s name was changed at the last minute to The Man Who Sold The World. The original stereo master tapes were in fact labelled Metrobolist, with the title ultimately crossed out. The 2020 re-release of the album under its Metrobolist moniker has been remixed by original producer Tony Visconti, with the exception of the track “After All” which Visconti considered perfect as is and is featured in its 2015 remaster incarnation.
