It was a deeply personal project for Daniela that found her challenging a lot of perceptions and longstanding emotions to do with her heritage that she had refrained from confronting until the writing process began.
My new track, “Trigger,” is about when your partner is pushing your buttons in a challenging way and you give into it
Tension doesn’t necessarily mean aggression.
Everyone has different ways of expressing it, but I always find it incredibly exciting when I find my equal – someone who can meet my wit, intelligence, and crazy with the same.
Sizzy Rocket Announces ‘ANARCHY’ Album & Pre-Order
Sizzy effortlessly combines her punk-rock roots with her lyrical pop prowess across the album. She juxtaposes slow burners like “Spill My Guts” with in-your-face anthems like “Straight To Mars (feat. Wes Period),” curating a record that is bold and evocative from start to finish. “I want you to be able to drown in this record — indulge in the big, dangerous feelings,” Sizzy writes. “Because fuck it — that’s who we are, who we’ve always been, and you can be whoever the fuck you wanna be. Even queen of the world, just for a moment. Friction on leather in the backseat, fleeting like the lifespan of a rose, this is our rebellion and it feels like LOVE, psychedelic and warm. The stakes are high but the reward is higher than heaven — so let me take you all the way.”

SPOOK THE HORSES: Empty Body Full-Length From New Zealand Post-Metal Unit Out NOW
Following the calm and sublime People Used To Live Here, Empty Body rears its head with distortion levels cranked up, tempos sped up, and songs condensed and stripped down to the bare, ugly essentials. Indeed, Empty Body comes as a brutal wake-up call within the rampant COVID-19 fatigue and an unexpected surprise in almost every regard. “We’ve always been both a heavy and a quiet band. An entire album of our prettier, more bittersweet inclinations demands a reply of our most aggressive and confrontational. The pendulum must swing back the other way,” comments multi-instrumentalist Callum Gay.

Skope | Mike Doughty new band/single (Soul Coughing)
“”‘Rona Pollona,” a freewheeling, casual jaunt that stands in direct contradiction to its pandemic-minded lyrics […] showcases the same brand of offbeat, not-quite-this and not-quite-that arrangements — and, of course, Doughty’s famous tongue-in-cheek rhymes.” – Stereogum
ICYMI: Paper Jackets Drops Reimagined Pop Anthem “Miss You (Too)”

Looking back at the song as a whole and forward to this acoustic version we’ve gotten a chance to relive the emotions we all share around the world of missing our friends and wishing we all had a little more time. There’s a hopeful melody and a hopeful chorus that echoes in our hearts when we hear it and we know you’ll feel the same”
Nashville Psychedelic Rock Band DE3RA Announce Inspiring New Single, “Old Scratch” via V13.net
DE3RA states that “Old Scratch” is, “about beseeching the void. It explores reaching out into the darkness and seeking inspiration and power. The inspiration comes from the feeling of desperation that we’ve all felt. The idea that we would do almost anything just to make things better. The intro to the song is a thick synth part reminiscent of an 80’s Sci-Fi movie soundscape. This is the heaviest song on the new album and probably the heaviest song the band has ever created”.
