Heartspeak, is the new album from musician, actor and award winning filmmaker Kaelen Ohm’s intimate multimedia project AMAARA. Set for release this Friday, the ethereal-pop collection was written as a culmination of a life-changing heartbreak and the end of a marriage. New album single “Desert Storm” arrives today alongside a self directed, produced & edited new video featuring Ohm and acclaimed dancers Denzel Chisolm (Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez), Sohey Sugihara (Madonna, Janet Jackson), Alekz Samone (Kanye, Dua Lipa), Sarah Francis Jones (Demi Lovato, Gwen Stefani) choreographed by Tatiana Parker (Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj). The song speaks to the moments in life where we become deeply changed by an event. That while in the midst of immeasurable pain, we may not see that what we are going through is profoundly important.
An organic collaboration with her longtime bandmate & engineer Brock Geiger from Reuben and the Dark, Heartspeak is the result of ten days of stream-of-consciousness songwriting, recording and producing in Geiger’s spare bedroom studio.
