“I wrote the song for my daughter, Evelyn the week my wife and I brought her home from the hospital. The song explores the emotions, and almost intangible wonder that is meeting your child for the first time. I wrote most of this song with my wife and daughter beside me, and it’s something I’m really proud of. It’s also a song that seems to be connecting with a lot of other people, parents and otherwise. Love is a universal thing, so I think there’s something for everyone in a song like this.”
