Regarding the song, vocalist, guitarist, and producer Joe Duplantier commented, “It is with great excitement that we’re presenting our new track ‘Another World.’ Ferdinand Magellan once said: ‘It is with an iron will that we’ll embark on the most daring of all endeavors, to meet the shadowy future without fear and conquer the unknown.’ Is humanity doomed, or will we survive nature’s wrath? Disheveled Cuss, Nick Reinhart’s solo debut project and self-titled album, has been digging at the LA-based indie stalwart for close to 15 years. A departure from the technical wizardry he’s long been known for via his band Tera Melos and work with Death Grips, Best Coast and Bygones Reinhart finally dropped the project early last month receiving nods from Pitchfork, Fader, Consequence of Sound, Brooklyn Vegan and more. What people heard was 90’s inspired pop/rock on par with any of the timeless and lauded milestone of the decade living somewhere between Blue Album era Weezer, Teenage Fanclub, Pixies and The Smashing Pumpkins but the the very distinguishable Nick Reinhart watermark.

Denise Valle – “Circles”

“Circles” is an anthem dedicated to my fellow overthinkers who are accustomed to many sleepless nights overanalyzing and comparing their daily interactions with others. I have been wanting to incorporate the latin language and culture in my upcoming EP; the voice at the beginning is my mother’s reassurance that everything will be alright.

Deradoorian Reveals Swirling New Single “Mask of Yesterday”, Listen Now

Deradoorian’s new album Find the Sun is a record intended to be felt as much as it is heard. “I think it would be cool if people lay on the floor to listen to it, and let it go through their bodies,” she says. “Being in that kind of space of awareness making it, I hope it evokes a physical reaction for people…that has so much to do with frequencies, vibrational relationships in sound.” As a Vedic astrologer, this is a focus of her readings, the way our brains and bodies work in concert, and how that is completely spiritual. We are nothing without our bodies.

Listen to Bully’s “Hours and Hours,” a new track from SUGAREGG, her forthcoming album

Bully’s “Hours and Hours” is the latest standout from SUGAREGG, her incredible new album out next month on Sub Pop. Alicia Bognanno offers this about the song, “‘Hours and Hours’ is about my mother and I finally figuring out our relationship. She and I had a really hard time connecting growing up and at times felt like it would never happen. Over the past five years we have become best friends, she is now the very first person I call when I am at my absolute lowest and has saved my life. I realize now how similar we are and how that probably had everything to do with why we had a difficult time with each other growing up. I wish I knew sooner how much we could relate but am eternally grateful that we have figured it out now and I’m just so thankful to be on good terms, I love her dearly.”
