The debut single from Rosa Mystica, “Holding Roses”

Rosa Mystica calls her music: “dreamy, melancholic rock n’ roll.” The twenty-six-year old Connecticut native has been honing her craft as a singer, lyricist, and pianist since she was twelve years old. She is drawn to the ear grabbing melodies from bands like Oasis, and the hazy, layered, and minor electric guitar sounds of bands like Doves and Radiohead. The idea for her debut single was inspired by her own experiences with “fallen musical men,” and the groupie culture of the late ’60s and early ’70s. The name and concept for debut single “Holding Roses” was also inspired by the somewhat obscure Twin Peaks song.
