On his new single “Lost In Time,” wifi leaves behind the insular, cerebral rhymes of his past in favor of a sleek, melodic sound. Progressive shoegaze postpunk outfit A Shoreline Dream present their ‘Seek To Hide’ single. This is the lead track from their long-awaited ‘Melting’ LP, to be released later this summer via Latenight Weeknight Records.

A Shoreline Dream is Ryan Policky (vocals, guitar, keys, bass, production) and Erik Jeffries (guitar, backing vocals) with Chase Dobson also playing keys on this album. Hailing from the circus birthing ground known as Barnum, Colorado, their sound combines lush melodic textures, organic instrumentation, and vocals layered like a synth, similar in vein to bands such as Ride, Dead Can Dance and Spiritualized – all mixed with a cavernous production style all their own.

The video showcases bandmembers and husband/wife duo Hannah Hooper and Christian Zucconi running through the streets of a barren downtown Los Angeles. As the video progresses, the apocalyptic imagery of masked faces and closed businesses is offset by the waves of strangers and an overarching sense of hope and triumph.

The powerful visual was directed by Chris Blauvelt, who served as Cinematographer on Jonah Hill’s directorial debut Mid90s, and also directed the band’s recent music videos “Deleter” and “Youth.”

The Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) announced today a new date for its annual main event: WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27, 2021

The new date is in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic. With this new date, the Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) holds its pole position as the premier awards event of the year recognizing film music, in addition to other visual media, prior to Golden Globes, Grammys and Oscars.
