From the frozen northlands, ATRAMENTUS is formed by members of Chthe’ilist, Funebrarum, Gevurah, and more among its ranks. Birthed on a cold winter night in 2012 and during an autumnal sunset in 2013, the cursed tale remained dormant for years, only recently being put to tape so the nameless knight’s saga could be told.

Kalen Chase (VIMIC, KORN) Discusses Songwriter Roots and New Video “Good Things”
In 2006, Chase joined Korn on tour, primarily on backing vocals, and can be heard and seen in the MTV Unplugged: Korn, released in 2007, where he was featured playing an exotic array of instruments. He remained with Korn – often seen as The White Rabbit – until 2008. Additionally, he has worked extensively in the studio providing backing vocals for artists including 10 Years, Pop Evil, Dragonforce and singing on the Lego Batman movie soundtrack. While working with Korn, Chase fronted the band The Changing, where he collaborated again with Jonathan Davis on single Jerry Bruckheimer. His career in metal would continue as the lead vocalist for the band Superfix, before joining forces with Joey Jordison (formerly of Slipknot) as the lead vocalist for Vimic in 2016.

Philly new wavers Korine share “Cold Heart” video from upcoming LP

East Nashville rock band The Love-In are redefining what the ‘Nashville sound’ is with their new EP As It Lays, announced today. Set for release on September 4, the group teamed up with acclaimed producer Collin Pastore (Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers) to create the five-song EP that focuses on not only recognizing, but breaking down the ways that social norms and gender roles discourage individuality and the mirage that conformity is what we ought to strive to achieve. Yesterday, the debut single and title track “As It Lays” premiered via Underground Music Collective.

Grammy-nominated artist JRM debuts video for “America”
Grammy-nominated songwriter and singer JRM’s video for his debut single, “America,” is out now. The video, which premiered yesterday on Brightest Young Things, uses striking animated visuals to depict the experience of being a Black man in America. “This video captures a lot of the ideas and thoughts going through my head while writing the lyrics. This particular visual, complements the very essence of America,” notes JRM.
