RUFF MAJIK: New Noise Premieres Animated “Who Keeps Score” Video

“Who Keeps Score” is the latest single from South African stoner rock kings RUFF MAJIK. Now playing at New Noise Magazine, the track is taken from the band’s forthcoming new full-length, The Devil’s Cattle, set for release on October 30th via Mongrel Records, and serves as the first tune from the band to feature new member, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Evert Snyman (Pollinator) on lead vocals.

Paste premiered the video, praising, “While the original song features a dramatic wash of mandolin, violin and Mike Scott’s painfully heartfelt vocals, Hennessey’s version adds a layer of surreal, sensual mystique.”

Zeistencroix, the post industrial band from Los Angeles, California, has released their new video Fallen Prophet, the third single from their album Gen Z, out via Sliptrick Records at the end of the last year. The video for Fallen Prophet is a little over three minutes long, with apocalyptic scenes bookending the track. It was recorded in San Bernardino, California, a few days before the shutdown of the city, which contributed to delaying the premiere.
