Windows (Mystic Braves) Share “Send It” & “Up All Night” Via XS Noize

Windows had intended to release their debut album in spring of 2020 but in light of covid-19 and the black lives matter movement, they decided to instead remotely write, record, and self-release two singles, “Send It (Side A)” and “Up All Night (Side B)” The tracks were mixed and mastered at Lolipop Records by Ignacio Gonzales. In addition, the band had fellow musician Willow J. Flores from the Spanish band The Parrots, design the matching artwork. Upon the July 2nd release of the new singles, the band will donate all proceeds to the Los Angeles chapter of Black Live Matter via their bandcamp sales. The band also plans to release a limited press, small batch of double sided 45’s later this summer.

As the world slowly gets back to itself, a unique cover of Thin Lizzy’s hit “The Boys are Back in Town”, is taken on by synth-hop Producer/DJ, h2the and Singer-songwriter/Producer, Sounten. Originally produced for a sync op that never came through, the duo was apprehensive about the cover of this classic rock song. After producing the track, they found that they really enjoyed the outcome. So much so that h2the began to throw it in his live DJ sets for DASH Radio. Because of this, they decided to release it, hoping the new take on an old classic would help shepherd in some much l needed positive summer vibes.

Divine Astronaut – Entitled “Voices”

“Voices” the track emits an almost menacing atmosphere through soaring harmonies and strong, confident instrumentation. The visuals were shot at Dracula’s Bran Castle in Transylvania, Romania and perfectly captures the haunting nature of Dracula’s mythology and how haunting our own voices and inner demons can be.

Today, nine months removed from their last LP, Monograms (the alias of Brooklyn-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ian Jacobs) is back with with a new single, “American Dreamz” and an announcement for a 14 track album Only A Ceiling Can Stay Inside Forever, due out July 31st via PaperCup Music. Earmilk premiered the track, praising how the “thrilling, relentless bassline and stifled guitar” along with Jacobs’ vocals “come together with a vibrant, sinister synth to create a powerful chorus.”
