YXNGXR1 SHARES NEW EP ‘YELLOW YELLOW YELLOW’ – LISTEN HERE

‘YELLOW YELLOW YELLOW’ is real and relatable from the get-go: opening track ‘Born Into Pain’ reminisces on school days and his childhood and sets up the ongoing themes on the EP about Yxngxr1’s exes and everyday life with friends and family, whilst also wondering if people will remember him one day. The post break-up single ‘Something (Demo)’ is “a lead up to summer single, just about my exes and being a little sad boy still”.

Plastic Barricades single ‘Tunnel’

London alt-rock duo Plastic Barricades is releasing Tunnel, the third single from the upcoming LP Self-Theories.

The track comes with a trippy music video that continues the tradition of unaltered DIY approach and was shot using a digital microscope.

Sometimes it feels like life is this winding road with plenty of tunnels. You go in, it is dark and uneasy, and pretty soon you start wondering how long this tunnel is. Visibility is reduced, you cannot increase your speed or turn back. It starts to feel claustrophobic. Your thoughts are amplified, loudly reverberating in your head.

KINGNOMAD: stream new track “The Creation Hymn” now!

Sweden’s prog rock warlocks KINGNOMAD unveil a new track taken from their 70s-infused new album ‘Sagan Om Rymden’, coming out this July 10th on Ripple Music. Travel through the ages of rock and psychedelia with “The Creation Hymn” exclusively over at It’s Psychedelic Baby Magazine.

There’s an emanating glow, a retro feel, a psychedelic hand keeping things loose and airy, a breeze through hazy mornings throughout the music of KINGNOMAD. New album “Sagan Om Rymden” recalls the more playful doom-rock of Witchcraft, leading into a fair stomp of times past, with guitar solos and organ creating a nostalgic 70s prog and proto-metal, offering an uplifting and shimmering journey through the ages of quintessential rock. Are you ready to teleport to the end of the universe… and beyond?

single: ELBOE, “DRUMLINE”

Elboe says he made the track “as an ode to the excitement of HBCU banging horns and drums that standout at classic games played by the bands while still bringing hard and street conscious lyrics.”

Duke Dumont unveils acoustic version of ‘Nightcrawler’

Announcing itself with delicate guitar chords, the ‘Acoustic Version’ of ‘Nightcrawler’ trades in the dancefloor energy of the original and allows the emotion-steeped vocals of Say Lou Lou to take centre stage. It follows recent remixes of the track from German DJ and producer Tensnake and Scottish duo Illyus & Barrientos. The original track has amassed over 3 million streams on Spotify alone.

Lauren Crosby and Griffin Sherry (The Ghost of Paul Revere) Team Up on New Single “Biloxi”

“Musically, ‘Biloxi’ is as intriguing and appealing as its implied conceptual impulse. While the song beings with a touch of edginess thanks to Griffin’s mildly ragged vocals and full dynamic push that includes drums, acoustic and electric guitar, bass, organ and even the occasional tonal punctuation of toy bells, over time, Crosby’s gentler, rounded, slightly twangy vocal tone balances out Griffin. (Think slightly more vocally assertive and defined First Aid Kit).” – American Songwriter
