London based animation team The Fans lend their skills for the marvel-esc video creating a storyboard sequence that follows Footsie & CASISDEAD’s animated warrior characters throughout the video.

Martin Khanja (aka Lord Spike Heart) and Sam Karugu emerge from Nairobi’s flourishing underground metal scene as former members of the bands Lust of a Dying Breed and Seeds of Datura. Together in 2019 they formed Duma (Darkness in swahili) with Sam abandoning bass for production and guitars and Lord Spike Heart providing extreme vocals to the project.

Both Ellie and Lauv share a passion for mental health advocacy, frequently using their platforms to raise awareness about anxiety and depression. Ellie is known for speaking honestly about mental health issues and has been part of several music industry initiatives to tackle the mental health crisis among young people, including AMP London conference panel hosted by Annie Mac, March 2020. LUMINARIES Release Social Distancing Video For “FLATTEN THE CURVE”
