The song is a perfect summer track, so the timing couldn’t be better. I wrote this song while recording in Los Angeles (Hollywood) after interacting with a girl who seemed to be infatuated with, and driven solely by, money and fame. It was clear to me that ‘Holly Would’ do anything to be in that circle. She was my muse. Thanks for the inspiration ‘Holly.’ You know I love you (haha).”

THE MILWAUKEES Premieres Rock Anthem + Video For “No Way Out” via American Songwriter

Lead singer/songwriter/guitarist Dylan Clark explains: “This record is the first time I’ve leaned on the piano for songwriting. ‘No Way Out’ is one of the songs on THE CALLING that started on the piano and it came together pretty fast. For me, melodies always come before lyrics. The line ‘no way out’ fell in place shortly after the chords and melody solidified. I liked the line, but I had a choice: Is there no way out… or is there a way out that we can’t see right now? The sweetness of the melody leant itself to a more positive message. That message is that it’s up to us. It’s up to the people to escape whatever darkness they are trapped in.”

HORSENECK Releases Cover Of Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out;” Fever Dream Full-Length Out Now

Now available on all streaming platforms, guitarist Anthony Paganelli comments of the track, “During our Fever Dream recording sessions, we decided to record a few cover songs. Alice Cooper’s ‘School’s Out’ being one of them. We all love ’70s rock and it’s a big influence in our songs and songwriting. ‘School’s Out’ is a bad ass song and that main riff is so catchy and super fun to play. We jammed on it a few times and decided to record it. The other cool thing about recording this song is that we all did vocals on it. All four of us sang. I even had my kids do the yelling part at the end. They thought it was cool to go in the studio and yell into a microphone a few times. But then again, who doesn’t.”
