KID DAD New Single “LIMBO” Out Now; Debut Full-Length ‘In A Box’ To Be Released August 21
KID DAD’s new track ‘Limbo’ is a song that deals with feeling unsafe, hassled, or even abused. As vocalist and guitarist Marius Vieth says, it’s about being “caught between uncertainty and fear, searching for something real to hold on to, in search of hope.”
The band has chosen to convey this in a music video that tells the story of a child trying to escape domestic violence. Part of what initiated this concept was the fact that, due to Covid-19 and the regulations put in place to battle the pandemic, there has been a surge in cases of domestic violence worldwide. Being trapped at home, a place that should be a haven of safety, can turn into a living hell for far too many people with the detection rate for young victims being shockingly low.

French Alternative/Metal Rockers PERSEIDE shared new full-length album ‘The Only Thing’ out YouTube
A couple of days after the official release of their debut full-length album ‘The Only Thing’, French alternative-metal/rockers from Lyon PERSEIDE just shared the whole record for free streaming on YouTube.

With her new single rising pop star Sarah Barrios gets meta, she’s falling fast and documenting the whole process with her autobiographical lyrics. “Love Songs” speeds through obsession, daydreams and sleepless nights until its ultimate realisation that being in love isn’t all that bad.
Forged in Austin, Texas in 2018 by Ryan Pankratz (The Devil And The Sea, Weak Flesh, Skycrawler) and Ed Davis (The Roller, Skycrawler), ZYCLOPS sat in gestation until reinforcements arrived in the way of Cory Brim (Glassing) and Matt Moulis (Unmothered). Merging elements of slow burning sludge, down-tuned grunge, trippy post-metal, and full on cacophonous noise, together ZYCLOPS manifests an ocean-wide wall of sound lurching forward in seizures of controlled chaos and melodic catharsis; a gritty, textural cascade of knuckle dragging barbarianism combined with dynamic complexities and reverb-drenched, sub-space noise that offers a new light into the vast sludge/doom genres.

The corresponding video, which marks Zander’s directorial debut, was filmed completely in quarantine using dollar store props. The clip playfully challenges the notion of “safer at home”, as Zander elaborates, “Are we really safe at home? Left to our devices? Alone with our vices? In some sense, we really are our own worst enemy and to be left alone with our thoughts for so long can be a disaster.”

Roman Rouge is a R&B pop singer/songwriter from El Paso, Texas. Born with music running through his veins, the musician was exposed to the industry from a young age and never looked back. Despite various struggles which he faced throughout his childhood, including his single mother trying to make ends meet, Roman took every obstacle in his stride, ultimately building his character and making him who he is today. Through every failure came strength and eventually the hardships paid off.

London based four piece The Skinner Brothers released their latest single ‘Away Days’, on 12th June across all digital formats via Blaggers Records with digital distribution by Horus Music.
‘Away Days’ is an ode to missing your real passion – in the lads case, that’s football mania and is inspired by the build up to an away game during the football season, a feeling which so many are missing during lockdown’s suspension of the football season. However the song’s sentiments translate just as well towards all weekend activities, everything that’s not there anymore, day trips to the theme park, days out at the beach, and even time spent dodging the seagulls scoffing chips whilst drinking in the sunshine.
