The new record follows the release of 2019’s acclaimed album, Absolute Zero, which The New York Times praised as “one more daring, rewarding turn in his catalog: 10 knotty, thoughtful yet rambunctious songs that juggle scientific concepts, history and human relationships.” NPR Music declared, “Far from a conventional Hornsby album, Absolute Zero is the sound of an artist subverting expectations and pulling it off brilliantly. At this point in his career, Hornsby could easily coast on writing cozy songs and settling for that. Thankfully for us, he’s still up for an adventure.” Pitchfork furthered, “Hornsby plays with elegance… It’s a confidence that arrives with both comfort and age and it’s what unifies all the disparate elements of Absolute Zero, shaping the album into a testament to the full range of Hornsby’s gifts.”

She’s an UNBELIEVABLE actress so it was an honour that she said yes! Hope you enjoy!”
Body Count Releases New Radio Edit Of “No Lives Matter” Today
The track’s message is more relevant than ever as Body Count frontman Ice-T states in the music video intro, “…when I say ‘Black Lives Matter’ and you say ‘All Lives Matter’, that’s like if I was to say ‘Gay Lives Matter’ and you say ‘All Lives Matter’. If I said, ‘Women’s Lives Matter’ and you say ‘All Lives Matter’. You’re diluting what I’m saying. You’re diluting the issue. The issue isn’t about everybody, it’s about black lives, at the moment.”

Stoke-on-Trent newcomer AVERAGE JOE shares brooding new cut ‘Promo’ | out June 17th
Described in his own words as “an invocation of the egoic spectres of rock and roll, dressed as a grandstanding anthem to pop vanity”, Joe’s latest effort encompasses the qualities of confessional storytellers Father John Misty and Tom Waits, mixed with the caustic spirit of Sleaford Mods and Mike Skinner, taking timeless themes and rendering them razor-sharp on the conditions of the present day.
Rob Vicious Reaches Terminal Velocity in the Latest ‘Breakthrough’ Video

Produced by Hurtboy AG & Foster, “Terminal V” finds Rob experimenting with his drawly vocals, using auto-tune and falsetto to mimic the frenzied mind-state of an abrupt comedown: “Geeked, roll my eyes so I can see inside my brain, ayy/No, I don’t know why, but why that love don’t feel the same? Yeah/Oh yes, I get high, but I know drugs won’t kill the pain, yeah/Sometimes I wish this high could last forever.”

“Exodus” was written after an early spring walk in Toronto’s mysterious Don Valley – one of my favorite places and one of few that still feels somewhat haunted. I saw no one that day, but the leafless trees afforded little cover for traces of human occupation.
