Shaefri has released an animated lyric video symbolising her acclaimed new single ’23’. The video is the second in a series of lyric videos created during lockdown by J43 for songs taken from Shaefri’s forthcoming EP Girl.
’23’ rides bewitching Middle Eastern rhythms while Shaefri’s hypnotic vocals address the hurdles young adults face in today’s society.
The recently released single has been quick to draw great support. It has been described by Clash Magazine as, “the sound of a young artist working with bold confidence” and EARMILK praised her “enchanting vocals”, while Hot Press featured the song as their Track Of The Day and Noctis Magazine spotlighted the song in their ‘Best Of The Week’.
