HONNE RETURN WITH DREAMY NEW SINGLE, “NO SONG WITHOUT YOU”

Written alongside Anderson.Paak collaborator Pomo during a spontaneous trip to Los Angeles in January and later finished at their studio in Hackney and in insolation during lockdown, ‘no song without you’ sees HONNE strip everything back, pick up their acoustic guitars and channel the psychedelic, infectious, care-free romanticism of the ’60s and bands like The Beach Boys. “It’s ok for things to sound a bit rough”, the duo explain, “rather than going into the studio and compressing guitars over and over. The more character that you leave in it, the more the listener can dive in.”

The stripped-back versions were mostly recorded at vocalist Jack Steadman’s home studio during lockdown, and took on a real back-to-basics, DIY approach to the recording and production process.

Americana Artist Mike Thomas Releases Third and Final Single Adeline in Preparation for Upcoming Album

This single, written by Thomas, is a heartfelt and sentimental one that boasts Thomas’ raw vocals and storytelling abilities. “Adeline is the last song I wrote before moving away from my hometown of Knoxville, TN, a place I truly loved and still do. I was processing a lot at the time.
