Langston Francis – “Waste My Time” out everywhere now

TODAY Singer/Songwriter Eliot Bronson Shares “Empty Spaces” Via Atwood Magazine

The song, which Atwood Magazine describes as “A vulnerable, intimate expression of grief and isolation, loss and longing, Eliot Bronson’s “Empty Spaces” dives into the bittersweet depths of emotional experience with humility, honesty, grace, and sadness” fits perfectly into the tapestry of the album, which was written during a period of tumult — including the breakup of a 10-year relationship, the end of an engagement, and a move from his adopted home of Atlanta to his current headquarters in Nashville. The collection is about loss, redemption, the places we leave, and the homes we make for ourselves. More importantly, it’s an album about starting again and it’s Bronson’s sharpest songwriting to date.

Seattle’s Glorybots Ready New LP + Share First Single “Wrong”

Out in the vastness of space, hurtling through billions of miles of unexplored emptiness, you can just make out the sounds of the intergalactic pop circuits of Glorybots. Or you could, if there was anybody out there to hear the swirling musical impulses of terrestrial noisemaker Jalal Andre, the architect behind Glorybots’ sci-fi landscapes and cosmic rock riffs. The Seattle-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has been dismantling a legion of sounds for well over 20 years, spending a good deal of that time with Washington State indie rockers Echo Texture. And while he found a welcoming haven for his brisk riffs and emotionally driven lyricism within the band, there were times when his creativities led him down stranger and darker avenues of melodic abstraction.

Animal Scream – ‘Station to Station’ single

Animal Scream’s members grew up listening to plenty of Motown, and it peeks through occasionally in their music – not so much in sound, but in spirit. It’s a whimsical title, aimed to categorize the uncategorizable, and only slightly accurate when presented against the vast and varied sonic backdrop that comprises Animal Scream’s weird-pop sensibility. Sickels jokes: “If you put Prince, Roy Orbison, Thom Yorke, and Misfits-era Glenn Danzig on the show Twin Peaks and had them be the house band, that’s kind of what our album sounds like.”
