ZASKA’s “My Whole Heart” Is The Hug We All Need

Max Zaska’s newest collaboration is his biggest yet and the video for “My Whole Heart (feat. Tolü Makay, God Knows & The Isolation Choir)” is like a warm hug.

“The message of the song is that life is fragile so we have to live for today, embrace our true self, and always cherish the community around us (even when we can’t physically see them),” Zaska explains.

Influenced by the cathartic yet upbeat music of the likes of SZA and 6LACK, ‘Wrong One’ juxtaposes Graye’s signature smoky vocals with bass-laden production by Bhav. The hyperreal video co-designed by the artist herself depicts Graye reclaiming her power after getting her heart broken. Subtleties in the imagery such as astrological symbols and a Kill Bill inspired catsuit allude to Graye’s self-confessed “bad bitch” mentality, resulting in a video that is both cosmic and empowering.

The track premiered on the Radio 1 Indie Show with Jack Saunders last night who said, “LARRY PINK THE HUMAN has struck something really special with this sound, I mean the melodies are those kind of catchy britpop choruses that made that genre so big in the 90s, but the production just time-travels it through to 2020 to put it out there in its own league, I really feel close to this because of how it channels everything that I love about classic guitar music, but also pushes the boundaries at exactly the same time.”

Mikoh – my new song, “Do You Hear Me Now?”

“At first, my new song, “Do You Hear Me Now?” was inspired by someone being far away, gone for a while. It sparked an interest in writing a song about reaching out.

I quickly turned this track into an introspective song about not acting like yourself, and not in a good way. “Do You Hear Me Now?” is about putting yourself in situations where you don’t belong, and acting like someone you don’t recognize. Listen now on your preferred streaming platform.”
