Liquid Ltd returns with feel good jam ‘That Feeling’

In these peculiar times, Stephen “Liquid” Hawley has created a light spirited feel good vibe on his latest single. Nestling perfectly between sadboi hip hop like Powfu’s ‘Deathbed’ alongside a noughties Kid Rock’s ‘All Summer Long’, from the first note of ‘That Feeling’, the emotion is set with a crazy smooth flowing, sun drenched summer sensation that carries an infectious melody over slow riding beats accompanied by worlitzer keys and splashes of guitar that seamlessly dance and groove to Liquid’s floetry. The song takes us to a place we all long to escape to, with an island vibe and catchy hook where Liquid sings; “So, round and round we go, where we stop, nobody knows. I got That Feeling.”

Coldabank drops ‘Chilled Mix’ of single ‘Afterlife’…

The ‘Chilled Mix’ of ‘Afterlife’ does exactly what it says on the tin: a pitched-down, smoother version that loses none of the infectious energy of the original. It follows the bumping house remix of the track that was recently dropped by Glasgow duo Illyus & Barrientos, while the original received support from the likes of Kiss FM and BBC Radio 1, where it was named Mistajam’s ‘Self Certified Selection’.

Glaswegian glam-punks Walt Disco release video for “Cut Your Hair”

Directed and filmed by Walt Disco themselves, the clip was filmed in isolation in the Glasgow flat they share. The tongue-in-cheek video features the band in a variety of settings in and around their home; featuring a synchronised dance in the back garden (the dance moves already a longstanding landmark moment in the band’s live se), guitar solos performed on top of a bed, and risqué leg shaves in the shower.

RAVENSCRY Launch ‘Binary’ Lyric Video & Single

RAVENSCRY say: “Binary” has the thrashiest riff of the album, with a bit of djent elements and a very enchanting chorus. It’s a song that represents our will to put together different influences and, at the same time, enhance each one of them to reinforce the message we want to convey. From this standpoint, “Binary” describes the game we have to play every day with our mind and ego: it’s a research of our true identity, trying to get off all the masks we wear to be like someone else or feel accepted by society. In these times, thousands of eyes are upon us, judging our life and creating a false image of ourselves, but sometimes this deception brings to a sort of inner mind revolution: so we change our perspective and listen to our real voice, the one that whispers beyond the human ego.
