Today, country singer/songwriter, Ashley Jordan, is premiering her new single, “Still Hear Him Talking”. Listen exclusively via American Songwriter. “I wrote this song when I was struggling after losing two beloved grandparents while also feeling that the world was so off-course and negative,” shares Jordan. “Even though it was a dark time, I wanted to convey my belief that everything was going to be ok and that no one is truly alone.” She continues, “It’s surreal that the message of this song is so poignant right now during our current world crisis – so I hope this song brings some peace to people who are also struggling.”

Austin-Based Alt- Rockers The Dragon Berries Announce Single to Lift Spirits via V13.net
“Make no mistake about it, the motivation behind “Nectarine” is placed squarely upon the group’s motive to inspire. This is no downer of a song; it’s meant to be uplifting despite the serious tone of the lyrics. You can hear the enriching spirit of the song in the funky sounding verses and the overall anthemic aspect of it despite some of the seriousness attached to the verses that deal with overcoming the obstacles of depression and anxiety.” (V13.net)

Regarding the new video & single, Williams stated: “I worked on “Borderline” with Kurt Feldman from Ice Choir who I met through Jorge Elbrecht. He re-worked the song “Around in a Maze” from my last album “Gilding the Lily” and I loved it so I asked him if he would do work on “Borderline.” He remixed a demo I sent him, and then I dissected it. Rock ‘n’ Roll Rapper Mickey Avalon Releases New Single “Ultra-Violence”
“The title of the song, ‘Ultra-Violence’ was inspired by the movie ‘A Clockwork Orange’ by Stanley Kubrick. The film follows some youngsters that are bored and empty, and are committing violence, just to pass the time and feel alive. I feel like we are in a similar time, and even a movie like the new Joker addresses some of the same ideas. My song ‘Ultra-Violence’ is just a little slice of time with two guys in that world.”

Opus (drummer of Dead By Wednesday / Ellefson & Earth) has released “The Corona Covers”, a solo acoustic series with songs and videos being added weekly!
“I’ve been so fixed on practicing and playing drums that I moved away from playing acoustic guitar, which I used to do and love so much. In the past I would go through periods where I don’t touch it. This quarantine forced me to find things to do. As soon as I picked it up, it was like clock work… I was writing songs in minutes and learning covers by ear like I usually do. Who doesn’t like cool cover songs done well or differently? It allows you to keep putting out content and stay relevant when none of us can play out live at the moment” says Opus.
New Single by Ludic: “Love Me Like”
While their hometown of Vancouver, B.C may be known for moody indie-rock, Ludic exudes a delightfully bright and unique brand of groovy tunes. The young Vancouver trio is composed of Ayla Tesler-Mabe (18), Rhett Cunningham (18), and Max Cunningham (20). When the Cunningham brothers met Ayla at a local jam in 2017, something clicked, prompting Ayla, guitarist of Calpurnia, to branch outside of indie-rock. With each of its members multi-instrumentalists and songwriters in their own right, the talented trio create dynamic genre-defying music that speaks as an entity of its own.
