Everything Everything Release New Song and Music Video, ‘In Birdsong’ Today
Everything Everything share their new song ‘In Birdsong,’ which premiered on BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac show today.
The track represents the first new music from the band since the release of their ‘Deeper Sea EP’ in 2018, which followed hot on the heels of their fourth album ‘A Fever Dream’ in 2017. It’s also the first release on their own Infinity Industries imprint, in partnership with AWAL.

NYC’s alt-folk group Bad Galaxy drop fearless new single “Never Been Afraid”
By age 25 most writers haven’t published a best selling novel, survived a ship wreck, and delivered dispatches from the center of a war zone. But that’s exactly what happened to 19th century novelist and journalist Stephen Crane who died at the young age of 28 from tuberculosis. This short but colorful life resonates today in the latest single from Brooklyn’s Bad Galaxy titled “Never Been Afraid”. Lead singer and songwriter Alexis Pastuhov wrote the song after reading a biography on Crane by writer Linda Davis called Badge of Courage. Pastuhov described the inspiration behind the song saying, “I became immediately obsessed with his story, and just felt strangely compelled to try and work it into a song. I rarely approach songs from that angle, so it was really fun and challenging to write.”

The 15-track body of work explores the duality of fame and financial success, showcasing the difficulty of being a musician with the project’s lead single’s opening line: ‘last month I made 20,000 dollars / how the fuck am I broke?’ Although the project features assists from notable producers Lege Kale (Kyle, Lil Yachty) and Jahlil Beats (Rick Ross, Meek Mill, DJ Khaled, Chris Brown,) BrokeN Dreams was almost entirely self-produced and recorded in HD’s bedroom.

Official Statement on the Passing of Country Music Hall of Fame Member Harold Reid
Country Music Hall of Fame member Harold Reid passed away yesterday. He was 80. Reid was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame with his Statler Brothers bandmates in 2008.
“Harold Reid was a driving force in one of country music’s greatest quartets, the Statler Brothers. He helped steer the group to stupendous successes, and his stirring bass was the underpinning of dozens of classic hits,” said Kyle Young, CEO, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. “He was also a tremendous entertainer, and one of the world’s funniest people. For decades, he made us laugh and made us cry. As his alter ego, Lester ‘Roadhog’ Moran, would say, his contributions were ‘mighty fine.’ We mourn his loss while we celebrate a life well-lived.”
