Kathleen Carnali – 2020 (Strangely Dim) (Official Music Video)
In wake of the COVID- 19, Nashville recording artist & songwriter Kathleen Carnali makes an early release of her new song and music video “2020 (Strangely Dim).” Within one week, her North American tour was canceled and she found herself confined at home in Nashville, TN. Kathleen began working tirelessly to produce the powerful imagery, music, and message of 2020 (Strangely Dim), which has already made a deep and lasting connection with it’s listeners. “With all the anxiety, depression, and suicide rates being the highest they’ve been since World War II, there is a dark and vulnerable place that many people find themselves in right now. I’m watching this song act as a light and road map, guiding people from a place of panic and fear to finding true peace and hope during these uncertain times… it’s incredible. The answer always has been, and continues to be, setting our eyes on the ultimate healer… Jesus Christ.”

GigDive is a brand new Artist-to-Artist Marketplace from The Static Dive. The idea is to connect creators with one another, for business and collaboration. Wanna help kick the tires a bit before the official launch?
It’s obviously not a new concept. In the gig economy, many of us have been using sites like Fiverr and UpWork for awhile now. However, those sites are so cluttered with categories that it is sometimes impossible to find what you are looking for. And when you do, buyers and sellers are charged fees of 20% or more, with additional service charges piled on top of that.
Armed with an ear for tight New Wave hooks and a healthy dose of existential dread, Leeds quintet Eades deliver buoyant new cut ‘Same Guy’.
Inspired by the precise sounds and NYC cool of Talking Heads, Velvet Underground and Parquet Courts on the one hand, and 90s psych-reimagining on the other, ‘Same Guy’ is built on layers of sample-esque guitars, quasi-disco bass and skittish rhythms. This wide spread of influences are filtered through Eades trademark LoFi approach to generate a sound at once unique and recognisable.

Jackboy Plots a Very Sanitary Heist in the “Cleaning Crew” Video
Crafting off-kilter trap tracks with his eye-popping personality, Jackboy is ready for the spotlight. Connecting with DrewFilmedIt for a comedic and charismatic new video, the South Florida rhymer shares “Cleaning Crew.” Gathering his Sniper Gang crew, Jackboy disguises as the chief of a custodial staff, using their cover to unsuspectingly rob a rich family of their cash and jewels. Though the heads of household remain oblivious, Jack and his crew can’t escape the attention of the youngest member of the household–luckily, he ain’t no snitch. A melodic anthem defined by a snaking guitar loop and Jackboy’s addictive hook, “Cleaning Crew” is a highlight from JACKBOY, the rapper’s upcoming album.
As his irresistibly catchy single, “Scumbag (feat. BLINK 182)” continues to climb the alternative charts, rising singer/songwriter/producer GOODY GRACE has dropped another new single, “If I Want To” – available today via Atlantic Records. Zgliszcza includes five songs which testify to the journey of CZERŃ and to how the band’s vision of music has been evolving. Every song is different, although they are all equally permeated with aggression and darkness. Alongside slower riffs, which connote sludge, on the record one will find lots of faster attacks, loaded with black metal venom and death metal relentlessness. The sound of Zgliszcza is augmented by the deep, harsh growl of Łukasz, and intros composed by Michał Głowacki (So Slow, Latające Pięści). Zgliszcza is all about darkness, captured in strong and challenging music. It’s the rigidity of hardcore, fueled by black metal strength and pure punk outlook on the world.
