KOLLAPS encounters everyday madness with elaborate counterpoints and ludicrous lyric lines. In a heavier manner, the band slips into the roles of other, social actors to reflect the aspects of their agenda: a dispute with the systematic collapse is thematized from the perspective of the „Fridays For Future“-movement, depicted in a musical dainty or a bizarre way, then again also to corrode opposers in a strobe-like manner.

RAVENSCRY Release ‘The Door Inside’ Lyric Video And Single

RAVENSCRY say: “The Door Inside is a combination of both the “classic” and the renewed Ravenscry sound: the mighty 8-strings riffs and chords give more space to melodic synth themes and even catchier vocals: it’s like exploring new shores while keeping the same bold attitude. In a similar way you can find a sort of dichotomy also in the lyrics, where personal research can deepen one of our greatest inner struggles: the never-ending “fight” between instinct and rationality. This conflict becomes “louder” when we have to make choices, and yet we don’t face them in the same battle field every time: sometimes we want to be more rational, sometimes we wish to credit our sensations, sometimes we just have to find the right balance in order to take the best decision. But how can we do it? Everyone finds their answers, although we all know that there’s only one thing we have to leave outside the door: fear.”

Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown Share “Out There” Video

“Making sense of loss is not an easy task,” says the band’s namesake guitarist. “Sometimes, it’s just impossible. Songwriting has always been my way of tumbling through the feelings I struggle to make sense of. ‘Out There’ has taken on different meanings for me personally over time. Given the current circumstances, this song feels heavier to me than it ever has. I can only imagine what so many people are dealing with right now. There was a lot of love put into this song and I hope every bit of that is transferred and felt by anyone out there who needs it right now.”
